This 10.7' Avenger C-Stand features chrome-plated steel construction and a 3-section column with 2 risers. The innovative design of the base allows the individual legs to be set at any angle allowing positioning in locations not possible with classic stands. The legs fold flat for easy storage.

Q: 3. Can the 40 arm hold a Mola Setti and Strobe?

A: Hi Sean,I use the 40 arm to hold a 22 Mola Demi on an Einstein strobe. The Avenger stand and arms are built like tanks, so I unless your strobe weighs a ton, I can't imagine the arm or clamp would be challenged. Don't forget sandbags for the base if the arm is extended. Best regards.

A: Tether Tools makes a caster stand that I use with this C stand. You can place a sand bag right in the center of the caster stand for stability.

I bought 2 of these for my studio backdrop and they are perfect. They are wide enough at the base and heavy enough overall to not need sandbags for my application (in my opinion). They really are quite well built and about perfect height for a pole mounted backdrop system. I have some Matthews medium duty stands and they work well for most of my lighting setup, but my key light with the 47.2” softbox mounted was too heavy to feel safe with, so I’ll definitely be ordering a 3rd. The bulk, while welcome in studio, isn’t too great to travel with however. On top of their weight, they are also not compact enough to be easy to travel with (although they do fit across the seats of my Corolla) Overall, I’d say the quality is for sure 5 stars, but their application is limited to mostly studio use for my tastes. 5

This thing is incredible! Built to last, you'll never need to replace this. The sliding leg makes such a huge difference, absolutely perfect for uneven surfaces. I'm using this primarily to hold a boompole, lighting on occasion and I also use it to balance my steadicam. I'm actually wondering how I functioned for so long without it. Great C-Stand. Oh, it was a lot bigger than I had anticipated, but that's not a bad thingjust a bit of a surprise. 5

This is a heavy duty stand that seems capable of handling anything mounted on it. The largest amount I've put to it is appx. 5kg but I think it could easily handle the 10kg it is rated for. Very satisfied and planning on buying another. 5

They don’t really get any better thank these stands! It’s solid as it can get.. Rugged, heavy duty. I never have to worry about my lighting gear or my model when I used these stands. So far all my C stands are Avengers because they just work and love the blue rubbery handle covers! 5

This is my first C-stand and the solidity and functionality are impressive. You can tell everything is built to close tolerances and made to last. I picked it in a hurry, mostly by reputation and because it would fit in my car, and discovered the legs fold flat on one side but aren't detachable. I'm on location a lot and my next purchase will probably be a hand truck. : ) 5
