This review is particularly for people who would like to use this with Blackmagic cameras.

This “SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 Memory Card” has been my go-to for two years with my BMCC6KPro. It is fast enough to effortlessly handle hours of raw and ProRes footage with various settings. I suggest getting two cards of your preferred capacity, splitting the load, and having a smooth shooting with one and downloading with the other one workflow. This workflow is a bit pricier, but the convenience is worth it.

SanDisk remains my go-to for reliable camera cards, and this CFast 2.0 card is no exception.

For my fellow Blackmagic URSA 4.6k G2 users, this card can handle all frame rates & resolutions (yes, including 300fps @ 1080p and 120p @ 4.6k) when shooting in BRAW 12:1 and 8:1. I haven't tested the larger recording ratios, but I know it works for 24p and 30p at 4.6k in 3:1 without issue.

If you're looking at this card wondering if it can shoot 120p at 4.6k in BRAW 3:1, your search may be a struggle. I have yet to find a CFast 2.0 card with such capabilities. Shoot at a lower ratio! Nobody will know and your wallet will thank you.

My BM 6K G2 had errors with another brand of CFast card. But for some reason, these cards easily handle 6K 8:1Constant Bitrate. Great solution because I can't use a usb solid state drive when I shoot with my DJI RS2.

I order this scandisk and didn't know it would hold twice the amount as the lesser one. I wasn't thinking. Wow it will let you record at least 42 min of video. Yeah. The other one will let you hold 22 min of video. I will buy another 256GB scan disk. I am making a short RAW cinema movie and will probably enter it in contests. This Disk ROCKS!
