The white pair of 2-way, 5.25" JBL Control 25-1L Loudspeakers are designed for background or foreground applications. Featuring weather-protected circuitry, the Control 25-1L can be used indoors or outdoors and are well suited for retail stores, restaurants, health clubs, theme parks, educational facilities, hospitality, music cafes, leisure venues, and anywhere where high-quality, high-output indoor/outdoor foreground/background music (and/or paging) speakers are required. The speakers feature JBL's proprietary InvisiBall mounting hardware, which allows for installation through a hidden access point behind its logo badge.

The Control 25-1L require 100W (200W program) at 8 Ohms to power the 5.25" woven fiberglass woofer and 3/4" PEI diaphragm tweeter, which combine for a frequency response of 85 Hz to 17 kHz and a max SPL of 116 dB peak. Connections to the speaker are screw-down terminal strips with a zinc-plated copper and nickel-plated metal screws and washers. The JBL Control 25-1L includes the InvisiBall wall-mounting system and a hex key.

A: I tried these with a Mac, and the Dragonfly black, and noticed a definite, but subtle improvement in overall sound quality. I was unable to test the better models.

A: Output power 100 watts at 8 ohms depending on your power amp you could daisy chain up to 4 speakers in one channel of you power amplifier. just keep in mind that the more speakers you add to a single 8 ohm speaker the impedance witll drop from each speaker demanding more power from power amp.8, 6, 4 & 2 ohms on speakers when daisy chanied. this speaker is also 70volt compatible with a 70 volt system you can daisy chain as much speakers as you want but also depends on how much power the 70volt has amp has.
