Not much to get excited about so 'love it' it oversell, afterall they are hard drives. I got two and the both work fine. 5

The drives arrived in quick time and are brand new and look nice and shiny Only problem is that a global pandemic hit and the government locked down the country before I had a chance to go into the lab and install them, so I can't really comment much on how they actually work. 5

Got it to hold my growing media library. Its 5400 rpm is ideal for music & video, while being quiet and energy efficient. Installation was straightforward. Initialize the disk at the windows prompt. Open Disk Management, right click, and choose New Simple Volume Wizard to set up your drive. Never had any issues with Seagate drives over many years and would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new desktop hard drive. 5

This is the drive I use to store data on my desktop computer; just upgraded from a 2TB drive. Needs to be formatted and partitioned after the physical install, but super simple using Windows Disk Management SW. This monster storage combined with the SSD I use for my operating system makes my 8 year old desktop purr like a contented tiger. 5
