SYNC HD provides a wide variety of connections to sync your gear. Get all of the usual suspects to connect to NTSC/PAL sources, digital audio signals and MachineControl-enabled systems.

Easily select SYNC HD's clock reference with just the press of a button. The interface supports all major industry-standard clock sources.

Select the timecode frame rate and format (drop-frame or non-drop-frame) with a simple button press. You can scope your current rate by the lit LED indicator or a flashing LED indicator. And the "DF" LED will light to indicate drop-frame formats.

View incoming timecode, as well as various function settings, on the multifunction LED display. See timecode displayed in hours : minutes : seconds : frames. Or use the controls below the display to configure timecode generator settings, PAL/NTSC selection, sample rate, and more while viewing those modes, parameters, and settings on the LED.

A: Yes, the Ambient Recording TC-SYNC Timecode and Sync Cable for Master Lockit & Lockit Compact Devices could be used to send timecode and genlock information into the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 Production Module from a compatible 5-Pin Lemo source such as the Ambient Master Lockit.

A: The Antelope Isochrone Trinity Master Clock Generator (B&H # ANISOTR) features three (3) independent and simultaneous audio generators up to 384kHz and varispeed control +/- 200 cents. It is a 10 MHz atomic master clock. There are no documents that address sine/square wave specifications.

A: Acceptable sound quality, about a 6 or 7. I bought it for how it looks, but it is difficult to tune and the clock and alarm are difficult to set, I always have to re-read the instructions. I like the cube shape and size on my night stand.

No, they don't replace regular triple riser combo stands. They're lighter and, while very sturdy, I wouldn't want to build a large menace arm on one. What they do replace, because of their light weight and compactness, is regular light stands, while also having the added benefit of being sturdy enough to rig frames and some heavier light heads. I'm grabbing another one to go along with the two I already have and am using them mainly as very sturdy light stands (usually) instead of how you would normally use a combo. Though, you can absolutely use them for most of those applications as well. Theyre lightweight, compact and versatile, and they make a great addition to any smaller grip truck or lighting van. 5

As described. The only weird thing is that little knob on one of the legs. I can't seem to fold and put the stand away with the knob on the leg. I have to take it completely off every time I break the stand down for transport, otherwise one of the legs sticks out. Don't know if I got a weird unit or what. I wish I payed attention to how it came wrapped in the first place. 5

I bought a couple of these several months ago and they have performed flawlessly.� Super heavy-duty and rock solid construction.� As good if not better in most ways than the twice as expensive Matthews combo.� Will be picking up a third very soon! 5

In operation, these stands are perfect. Solid as a rock, great connections and hardware, and the head is really flexible. I really like how you can position the baby pin vertically or horizontally. Also, getting a fixture this high in the air on a c-stand or baby stand is precarious, but this combo makes it all much safer. The only thing I don't like is how floppy the legs are when folded. I definitely feel like I'm splitting hairs, and for the price, it's entirely acceptable, but it does make moving these stands kind of awkward. 5

Well built, well designed, and solid as a rock. If you're looking for a solid light stand with a wide base for heavy lights, large butterflies, or booming lights out...this'll do the trick. 5

All-steel. 80-some pound capacity at up to eleven feet high. Rocky mountain leg and combo head. Amazing value for a big stand. Gotta fly a frame and 8-9 feet will do it (with the high end at 11)? Two of these will cost less that one high roller. Got an HMI par with a junior stud? Get it up there. At this price (and free shipping), you really should look into this, especially if you're a newbie/indie/kid/small biz shooter sticking frames or lights on fully extended c-stands (that, or make sure your liability insurance is maxed out). Yeah, it's heavy, but it's supposed to be, and packs reasonably small for what it does. 5
