Q: 4. I'm looking for a film that I can print on with a Epson stylus pro 7890. I'm looking for a removable film that would be applied to powder coated steel. Roll if possible 9.5 wide. Used on a outdoor DVD kiosk for advertising coming soon box art. Life span is going to be one month. Will this product work? Thanks,

A: Yes you can use this product, but if it is outdoor it would be advisable to clear-coat with an aerosol clear, such as Krylon UV-Resistant clear. Other wise the print can smudge and is not water resist.

Q: 5. I've read the reviews and a lot of them mention how heavy the rolls are. Please could you tell me the weight of a roll of 8'x20' white vinyl? Just want to make sure I get a background stand that can hold it!

A: It weighs in at 22 pounds. I use Photoflex backdrop stands and pole to support it and it holds it just fine. It is bulky to transport and I have thought about cutting it into two rolls, but it is a nice vinyl backdrop.

Q: 6. Does subject of photoshooting can be close to backdrop without shadows on pictures?

A: The shadows on the backdrop from the subject are caused by the Inverse Square Law, meaning as the distance from a light source increases, the intensity of light is equal to a value multiplied by 1/d2. simply put- the shadow will decrease if you move the light further away from the subject and backdrop.

Q: 9. Best economical way to temporarily hang a wall? Velcro? hooks in drywall? thanks!

A: My DIY material background hanging system consists of eye bolt screwed into opposite walls using wall anchors. I then string two strands of picture hanging wire; starting with one bolt, looping through the other, and then back to the first and securing. I use the binder clips (medium or large) - the things that are used to clip a stack of papers together. I place the clip over the wire and clip the background ever 6 - 8 . I have 2 or 3 backgrounds on each wire. I simply slide the background that I want to use into position. I have 3 wires to hold all my material backgrounds. They remain wrinkle free; very easy to change. I also installed stretchers (adjustable Velcro with alligator clips) on both walls - just thumb tacked - to make the material taught.
