A: No. It is a slightly pebbled gloss, pebbled to reduce the reflection of ambient light sources nearby. This paper is 3 times more popular than any other paper Epson sells. It has much deeper blacks, richer colors and saves money on print ink, and hides finger prints well.

Q: 9. Is it worth it to get the ultra premium over this? For what purposes would it make a difference?

A: The ultra premium paper has a higher basis weight and thickness. Some prefer this extra basis weight and thickness. It is not a very significant difference though.

Q: 10. Is this paper considered archival when coupled with archival inks?

A: YES, YES, YES....and YES!

I only print photographs and like a coated paper for the vibrant colors. I have an Epson Stylus Pro printer and use Hahnemuhle Pearl for large prints but when I'm making smaller prints I use the Epson semi-gloss sheets. It gives you the color saturation without high gloss. 5

I've been using Epson Premium Semi-Gloss paper in my Epson printer for some time now and I always get perfect, high quality results. Also, you can't beat the price and service from B&H Photo. I only wish they had this same paper in the 5x7 size. 5

Prefer the finish to Epson's luster paper. Don't understand why Epson rates it as 4 star Premium rather than 5 star Ultra Premium. 5

I use this Epson 4x6 paper to print out pictures that I affix to Strathmore card stock. Between my printer and this paper the images come out beautifully. Initially I was going to order through Epson directly and also checked out Amazon but got a much better deal with B&H. The only issue is that unlike some items from B&H it took about 7 days for them to arrive. 5
