I purchased this product to use for live broadcast switching between two cameras. The setup for is very simple, basically plug and play. There are two input ports, one preview port, and one output port. There is also audio input option. The switcher also comes with a dual foot switcher. Setting up the foot switcher is not intuitive and I had to search for the answer on YouTube. You actually have to go into the menu and turn the foot control on before it will work. This was very frustrating as I expected to be able to just plug it in and use it. I am by no means a production engineer so I can only tell you my experience with my limited knowledge, but overall this product does exactly what I expected and I have had zero problems with it! I highly recommend watching videos and reading the manual before use just learn some of the switchers features, there are many. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a two camera setup.

Small, light and powerful. A scaler on each input with color correction and a scaler on the output make this one of those tools you may want in your toolbox, just as you would have one of the Decimators. Does the job and seems to be able to solve a multitude of issues, including an available still store! Foot pedal operation is a plus. Only issue is with a very small hard to read menu on 1080p. For my eyesight, I need to set the output on 720 pm to read the menu on a small 7 monitor. Wish there was a command to make the menu more readable. This is very minor compared to this switcher's versatility.

This little guy works great. Love the size, build and scaling.

Product specs are accurate: To the customer who gave this two stars because of the still image output it actually can output the captured image at native 1920x1080. To do this you must disable Save to internal storage in the menu settings. This will save captured images only temporarily but at full resolution. They will be erased once you turn the unit off and you will have to recapture the image for each session. Im not sure why they do it this way but you can still output a full hd image capture.

Didn't expect it works well with PIP. Powerpoint slides was very clear and video was great. Setting with Projector on and didn't expect the video capture was clear. The setting is very easy. I bought two sets.

Excellent for a two camera live simulcast. I've use this eight times and only ones did I have a problem because of a power surge.
Takes a little time to learn how to use this but once you do it gives you many options.

If all you need is a simple 2 channel HDMI seamless switcher, this is the unit you need. It doesn't get much more basic, and it works perfectly.
