I have been waiting for the upgrade to the old HR672 panels for some time and the new P60x panel is no disappointment. The build quality and functionality as well as light output has improved quite a lot. Gone is the light plastic feeling as well as the shaky battery release of the HR672-series. Also the power connector is a solid new type with a twist locking function. I also love the new user interface with a proper display.

The only big downside is the functionality of the fastening pin to the panel. While the attachment bracket provided now is solid metal and not plastic as before, it's difficult to fasten the pin firmly to the fixture as any kind of rotational force between the the panel and light stand will easily make the pin come loose.

It should also be noted that Aputure no longer supplies a separate WIDE or SPOT version of the Amaran panel, the P60x have a beam angle somewhere between the older spot/wide angle at 45 degrees.

The unit does not ship with batteries anymore, but NP-F batteries can be found in all price points depending on wattage and functionality.

The remote of the previous panels has also been removed in favour of the SidusLink bluetooth interface which connects the fixture to a app on your phone or pad/tablet. Basic app is free to use. Some people would probably have wanted the remote option to still be available.

While much fuzz is surrounding the full color P60c brother, the P60x wins for portability as the weight is only half of the color version. And price is lower too.

A friend of mine, a professional photographer, lend me this Godox LEDP260C and I was very pleased to see how good and versatile is this product. So I decided to buy two because the price is very attractive.

The LED panel provides a nice and natural diffusion of light. You can set both illumination intensity and warmth separately and store it on presets memory.

I'm not a pro photographer or video maker but with this LED panel I was able to achieve professional results for my music videos.

Highly recommended!

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The p60x works great in a studio as a secondary video light, and it's also a great portable option for photos/video since it can run off batteries (though the run-time is fairly short). I also use it frequently in our art studio when evaluating the color accuracy of prints. Would definitely buy again.

I used this light on my interior photoshoots the day it arrived.
With the reflector the intensity of the light is way stronger then I anticipated. Not to mention the luxury of being able the output in small increments and control color temperature. Highly recommended.

I purchased two of these as macro lights. I needed something closer to a spotlight than an led panel light. These lights have worked perfectly so far and the price is right. The color balance is adjustable as well as the brightness. There is a digital display to show the color balance and the brightness in single digit precision. The lights feel well made and I am looking forward to using them for many projects. The only complaint I could possible have is that they are too bright, but then I can turn them down! One of my main applications is coin photography. These lights do well to catch the luster on a coin surface.
