A: Used products would come with a 90 days B&H warranty.

A: The thermal solution that's included with the Intel Core i7-12700F is already pre applied to the CPU cooler. There is no additional tube of thermal solution.

Q: 3. Supports Intel 300-Series Chipsets Only, please explain?

A: B360, H370, H310, Q370 or Z370 chipset motherboards. You have to buy one of these chipsets, it is not compatible with 200 (such as Z270) or 100-series chipsets (Z170) which previously used the LGA1151 socket.

Q: 4. This cloning is sector by sector? i can Copy for example the MBR and partition table?Or are there some files that are not copied ??

A: It will duplicate a drive sector by sector.

Q: 5. So this comes with thermal paste from B&H? Or is the description incorrect? Because in the box I thought you only got the cooler and cpu

A: The thermal paste is already pre-applied on the cooler by Intel.

Q: 6. I need something like this but this says HD's up to 4 TB... I have drives that are 8 and 10 and 12 TB... will it support them?

A: The StarTech B&H # STSATDK2REU3 has been tested with hard drives up to 4TB. It does not mean it would not support larger drives, it just has not been officially tested by Startech. Q: 7. I have an HP G4 800 motherboard. The HP specs indicate a 65w i7 8700. Will this work?

A: The socket would match, however the manufacturer recommends the Intel Core i7-8700K processor should be paired with the (95 W model only).

Q: 8. Can this item be installed in an iMac?

A: You'll need an iMac with an LGA1151 socket with support for Coffee Lake and compatible RAM.

Q: 9. Can this also be used to just dock two drives to add external drives to computer?

A: Have not tried using it for that purpose. Im sure the manufacturer can tell you. It is a great duplicating device.

Q: 10. can this items be installed Mac Pro 2010 model ?

A: No, the Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core LGA 1151 Processor BH #INCI78700K is not compatible with a 2010 Mac Pro.

This processor is very fast and a major upgrade for me from an older i7. The retail box cooling solution works very well. Keeps my processor cool and is not that loud under normal conditions and while gaming. The loudest I can get the fan is under prime95 and cinebench r23 which is max load. The temperatures under max load remain in the 70's c. Idle is 40 c or high 30's c. 5

I did not need a huge amount of cores for a home PC build and this CPU was a good deal IMO for less than $200 at the time. This one comes with the CPU cooler which looks better than previous stock Intel coolers. No problems on install and all working well. 5
