I was so excited when I found this trackball. Right away I ordered one, for use on my Mac G5 for Protools editing, and a little bit of Photoshop and iMovie too. It has the feel I need for quick efficient editing. I love the large ball, think billiard ball size, it provided both speed and control, for precise editing. The top address ball allows me to control it with my thumb, fore fingers or both. (unlike many other track balls that are only thumb address.) It comes closest to the feel of the old Kensington Turbo Mouse that I first used with my original MacIIci, and later, for many years, with my Mac G3. The SlimBlade ball is a bit smaller but a good deal lighter than the ball of the Turbo Mouse, but feels similar to it. I am very happy with my SlimBlade Trackball by Kensington. I would recommend it to anybody who edits media. 5

I'm at the computer 12 hours/day and I find a trackball much better than a mouse for my hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. My Logitech Trackball developed floating cursor and I couldn't cure it. I looked at lots of recommendations from friends and relatives, but no one mentioned the Kensington SlimBlade Trackball. I found it on my own, and it is perfect for me. The large ball makes for easy cursor precision. Its simple clean design is very appealing to me. It's the easiest least stressful pointing device I've ever used. (I started out with a CPM machine so some of you will have an idea of how many pointing devices I may have used over the years.) 5

I find a stationary track ball more comfortable than a traditional mouse for extensive time at my computer. (A mouse requires more real estate for movement.) Speed and precision are easily adjusted. The ball is larger than most and means it's easy to move the pointer exactly where you want it. Four buttons around the ball can be changed for click, double click, right click or many other options in the software. 5

Always preferred trackballs over mice. They take a little time to adjust but once you do, the difference is amazing.
