The Wine Country Camera 100 x 100mm Filter Vault is designed to encase the edges of a separately-available, 100 x 100mm, 2mm-thick filter for use within a Wine Country Camera 100mm Filter Holder. By encasing the sides of an installed filter, this filter vault helps to eliminate stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between an installed filter, as well as the filter holder and the lens behind it. A: This will not fit into the Cokin Z-Pro or Lee filter holders. It is designed for Wine Country filter holders only and is 7mm thick.

A: While specifics depend on the camera, the sensor and the actual lens, it can be said in general that 100mm filters do not vignette on any lens they are mounted on.

A: We could not find a lens cap for the Wine Country Camera filter holder. We know of no cap for the other larger filter holders either. Please know it does have a protective pouch when transporting. However, I do hear you. I have been in situations where I want to have at least moisture or dust protection while sitting or doing a short move to another set up. In these situations, I would suggest using disposable shower caps which are available at your local drug store or your next motel overnight stay.
