A new take on Telrad's iconic finder, this version of the Reflex Sight is offered with a bronze tint to the viewing window glass to provide a different contrast under certain conditions. It is outfitted with a generous 2.5 x 1.4" viewing window that provides a wide unmagnified true view of the sky, unlike conventional finder scopes that offer limited fields of view presented upside down and backwards. Three concentric rings—spaced at 4, 2, and 0.5°—provide an easy point of reference for locating objects and quick navigation when manually star-hopping. An easy-to-use, infinitely adjustable rheostat enables precise brightness control so users won't hurt their night-adjusted vision. A mounting base is included, and the sight easily detaches from it for storage or to move it to another OTA with a separate mounting base already attached without requiring it to be recentered with the OTA.

This no-nonsense finder is a huge improvement over the one that was bundled with my new telescope. The design is simple and elegant and it gets the job done. 5

This works great on my Sky-Watcher 8 Dobsonian Telescope. The one with the truss rods. I used clamp mount to attach it to one of the truss rods for easy removal. There isn't enough space to use the mount that comes with on the scope. RAM clamp mount, 3 inch arm extension, and a camera mount ball with a 1/4 20 inch thread. Drill and tap one 1/4 20 thread on the sight and you are in business. Put oringinal mount on a 6 inch Cassegrain. 5
