The Tubetak Pro Liquid Adhesive from Auralex is a tube of a water-based adhesive to be applied with a standard caulking gun or Tubetak applicator (not included). The adhesive provides a permanent bond and is recommended for rough surfaces. A single tube mounts up to 32 square feet of foam or diffusors depending on thickness. Tubetak Pro is guaranteed not to oxidize Auralex foam products.

A: The 24 tabs included in the package of Auralex EZ-Stick Pro Mounting Tabs are enough to hang six Auralex Studiofoam Panels. You will need two packages of the EZ-Stick Pro Mounting Tabs to accommodate twelve Studiofoam Pyramid Panels that are each 24 x 24 x 2".

Q: 3. How do you apply it to the foam and how do you know how much to use?

A: You will need a standard caulking gun. I applied it by making some zigzags on the hard panels I wanted to glue the foam to. Woked out very well, you don't need to put a lot, but think that the foam it absorb some of the adhesive.

Q: 4. How many rolls of 35mm should I be able to fix with this at the working dilution?

A: The Legacy Pro Liquid Fixer Solution (32 oz) is estimated to last about 24 rolls of 35mm film.

A: No. Unlike Green Glue, Auralex Tubetak Pro Liquid Adhesive (24-Pack) BH #AUTTPROCASE does not offer any noise damping or anti-vibration proprties. It is not a viscoelastic damping compound that converts sound energy into a minute amount of heat.

Q: 6. What are the consequences of using a non-hardening fixer for RC paper?

A: RC papers can use either hardening or non-hardening fixers. A non-hardening fixer, such as the Arista Premium Odorless Liquid Fixer (32 oz), is only needed when using a fiber-based paper that you plan to tone.

Q: 7. will it work on cement ceiling?

A: Hello Aimee, because of the relatively rough surface of concrete, I wouldn't recommend EZ-Stick Pro Tabs. They work well on smooth, finished surfaces like drywall or wood paneling, but for a concrete ceiling I would suggest something stronger, like our liquid adhesive Tubetak Pro.

A: Considering the size of 2' Quasar Science Crossfade which is 24.5 x 1.5 x 1.5" / 62.2 x 3.8 x 3.8 cm vs. 1.8' Astera Helios Tube RGB LED Tube Light 21.6 x 1.6" / 54.9 x 4.1 which this was made for it won't fit due to 2' Quasar Science Crossfade being longer by 2.9 inches.

I find these mounts to be essential for working with the 4 foot length Pavo tubes/quasars. The plastic light holders with the baby pins that are included with the Nanlite Pavo tubes are total junk. Their plastic latch commonly pops open which risks damaging the light. This amount can be oriented in all three directions and securely clamps tube lights into position with zero chance of dropping it. 5

If you're hanging sound foam this is the stuff you want. Don't use spray glue. You'll only regret it. 5

Nice Nanlite mount. Very trustworthy and solid construction. The connection point is pretty robust but I'm thinking the springs will loosen up a bit as I use it more. 5

I've been lusting after a physical LA2A for years. I actually first used one in the early 1970's in a radio station, their original market. I've tried a number of plugins, some of which aren't bad. But the weird mixture of tubes, transformers and a light bulb (panel in this case) is just hard to beat. Like all great audio gear, you may cease to notice it when it's there, but you'll truly miss it when it's not there. I have a number of wildly dynamic singers in the studio, and this just works the magic to make their vocals sit in the mix. And it makes those same vocals bigger sounding at the same time. Is it the best LA2A clone out there? I don't know since I can't test it against all the rest. But it's darn good. BTW, let me put to rest any fears about build quality, etc. This is my second (and won't be my last) piece of Warm Audio kit. Absolutely no issues with the way these beasts arrive and work. Possibly, outside of acoustic treatment, the best investment I've ever made in my studio. 5

This was just what a needed. Although I wish you couldn't see the holders against the lights, it has to hold onto the light in some way. Better than hanging it like it was before. This way I can mount them vertically to my light stands for my YouTube videos. Glad Nanlite makes this accessory. 5
