A: The CAME-TV Slider Support Rods (Pair) (B&H# CASROD2) provides fixed (i.e., non moving) support for a slider on either side of a tripod. In contrast, the specific design of the edelkrone SliderPLUS v5 Long (B&H# ED81204) (and those of other similar SliderPLUS products from edelkrone) requires it to move not only the carriage on top of the slider but also the rails of the slider itself from side to side. Since attaching the CAME-TV Slider Support Rods to it would make that movement impossible, we would not consider the two products to be compatible.

A: We use the Manfrotto 501PL plate on this one all the time without any problems.

Q: 10. Can this be used on the fx6?

A: yes, you can mount an Fx6 to the ARRI Mounting Plate with 15mm Rod Support for Sony FS7II & FX9 Cameras.

i know they cost a bit more, but when you are going to use these over and over on your should and all over the world, it helps to have a lighter stronger rod at the base of your rig. Do not use carbon fiber rods on longer rigs! These way about the same but they are strong. 5

I was having trouble with motors binding or not calibrating properly when using carbon fiber rods when using on a gimbal. These titanium rods are stiffer and stronger and work great. They are expensive but worth it! 5

So light and strong, can support anything you throw at it. The difference is weight between standard Arri rods and these are insane. You shed a lot of weight. Doesn't feel cheap in the slightest. Well built. 5

Expensive, yes, but they're lightweight and you'll have them for the next 25 years. I have to say they look pretty sharp on various cameras, too. 5
