A: This Jumbo Air Duster is not recommended for lenses.

A: That is a little too far. The blower needs to be closer to the lens to be effective in removing dust.

A: The difference is that the ME-102P has a different bolt size in the handle and it its female threads. Otherwise, they have the same specifications and usage.

Q: 4. Which Avenger extension arms fit this grip? Which of them are the best and heavy duty?

A: This grip head is meant to convert a stand with a junior receiver to accept an overhead butterfly frame.

Q: 5. How big is this blower?

A: The dimensions for the Samigon Jumbo Hurricane Blower, is approximately 3.5" L x 2" W.

Q: 6. Do they make a Baby version of this?

A: The only grip head that is somewhat like that one but is a baby is this one, Avenger D240 Swivel Grip Head, B&H # AVD240 MFR # D240. But it is a swivel Grip head.There are adapters you can use but it depends on what part you need to be baby. Best is to continue this in chat or give us a call if you want additional information.

Q: 7. My light stands are the short undercut style. Can the fixed pin and T-handle be swapped?

A: On the Kupo Grip Head with Fixed Baby Pin, the T-handle cannot be swapped with the knob.

A: Yes the Dust-Off Jumbo Air Duster can be used to clean the exterior of a camera.

Q: 9. Does the D400 use aluminum break disk like Matthews? Or does it have the cheaper rubber disk on the more budget brands?

A: Avenger uses cork for the material of the disk in the Avenger D400 4.5" Grip Head with Junior Pin.

Q: 10. Does the Avenger D400 4.5 support arms(booms) larger than 5/8 (16mm) in diameter? I have the Avenger D420 & D410 and they can use up to 25mm(1 ) sized poles. I was wondering if this grip head also had the larger holes(in addition to 5/8 and 3/8 )?

A: The actual opening when fully closed, of the large hole, is inch. It should work correctly for a 1 size pole.

I recently started using 7' umbrella's in studio and had a hard time finding a grip that would hold it upright. Without having to attach it directly to my Godox AD-600 head. Feeling it probably wouldn't be able to handle the weight at certain angles. This turned out to be just what I needed. I put the light on the attached pin. While using the clamp to hold the umbrella. And of course it attaches directly to the top of my light stand. 5

This is a very solid (and heavy) bit of kit. I put a monolight on the baby pin and a six-foot umbrella through the grip head to create a large light source. I tried fashioning my own before buying this grip had by placing a baby pen in the top of a regular grip head and using a set screw to hold the pin in place. While my approach worked, I was always concerned about the set screw working loose. 5

This follows Avengers profession products exactly. This is not a small grip head, but it does fit Avengers junior stand magnificently. You can't go wrong with this overhead grip, it is high quality. 5

Very heavy duty grip head for Avenger Junior stands (like A5012 or A5034). Well made, seemingly indestructible. Using with a Chimera stand adapter for 4 1/2 griphead (works well). 5
