ARRI's SXU-1 Single Axis Unit is a wireless hand unit offering single-axis focus, iris, or zoom control. The compact SXU-1 features remote camera start/stop and tally, an ergonomic wooden handgrip, and a backlit, super-smooth control knob. This simple unit can be used in conjunction with the WCU-4 or with the SMC-1 single-motor controller (both available separately).

Addressing the fact that focus marks are only good if they're visible, the SXU-1's backlit display window is readable in bright sunlight, and its knob's internal light provides readability in low-light settings. One marking disk and a lanyard are included with the SXU-1 unit. A required battery and charger are not included and are available separately.

I used two 5DmarkIII's before and now use one 5DmarkIII with my new C300markII. Will this or any other known remote trigger both of these cameras with one remote using a splitter cable? I tried with two intervalometers I currently have and they do not trigger the C300markII even with remote setting correctly set to standard mode unless there's something else I'm missing. A: I'm sorry to say we are not aware of a solution like this that will work for both the C300 Mark II and the 5D Mark III. The C300 Mark II and 5D Mark III have different connections for remote controls, which makes this not possible.

A: The Ursa Mini cameras have a standard 2.5mm LANC input. We believe that this Trigger Cable should work with the Ursa Mini.

A: Friction only. I would NOT recommend loading it with that much gear. Use a heavier boom arm and a grip head.
