The 45" Umbrella Diffusion Cover from Photoflex is a softlight accessory that turns a reflective, bounce-type 45" Photoflex or similar umbrella into a light source comparable to a softbox. Useful for portrait, fashion or beauty work, the one-stop diffuser slips easily over the open side of the umbrella. It has an opening for the flash head and works on white or silver umbrellas, but for best results and higher output we recommend using silver.

Q: 5. This is sold as a bounce umbrella as well, but is there any reflective backing, or is the whole surface translucent white? If that's the case, won't there be a lot of light spill backwards if you use it as a bounce umbrella?

it is hard to find a 60" diffuser. I was concerned with the negative reviews before ordering it , but I gave it a try. It works for me, it does the job. I don't see any difference from my impact built in diffuser umbrella and this one. I recommend it.
