The Paper Stripes Art Canvas Backdrop with Grommets from Westcott is a 5 x 7' backdrop with a printed brown paper stripes pattern. This size backdrop is suitable for full body shots, couples, and groups. The backdrop incorporates five grommets, three along the top and two along the bottom, and can be paired with Westcott's X-Drop frame (not included) for hanging. Additional grommets (not included) can be added if you wish to expand your hanging possibilities.

The backdrop is reflection free and presents a matte finish, while the printed design lends a high-end look to your photographs. It comes rolled in a tube, but you can fold the canvas for storage if you wish.

Q: 3. Can this canvas be stretched? How does it co,pare to the Hahnemuhle Daguerre canvas?

A: Yes, this canvas can be stretched. Both are great canvas sheets, but I found the Hahnemuhle Daguerre canvas to be a better over all paper.

A: The package weighs 6.4lbs.

Q: 5. Will putting prints from this canvas in "Clear Bags' print storage bags (archival acid free, etc.) damage the print and ink?

A: Storing prints on the Hahnemuhle Cézanne Canvas Matte Fine Art Paper in archival storage bags will not damage the ink or the prints.

Q: 6. hi wanted to know is prints on this canvas can al have to be stretched mounted or i can also glue it on a mat of a foam board?

A: Can do either way but stretching takes a bit of skill. B&H does have some stretcher bars that are easy though. I like putting the canvas on gator board then placing in a frame with no glass needed. Very sharp looking

A: The Epson L1800 is not specified to accept roll fed paper. It can only accept friction fed sheets in the paper feed tray.

A: This cotton-poly blended canvas features elastic polymers that provide the high tensile strength necessary for gallery wrap stretching without cracking. It is canvas but it is a mix of synthetic and cotton materials.

A: To print on roll paper, create a custom paper size. Select ManageCustom Sizes as the Paper Size option. Click the + (plus sign), doubleclickUntitled and give your paper size a name. For the Width, enter12.95 inches (32.9 cm) for Super B-size rolls. For the Height, enter thedesired length up to 129 inches (327.7 cm). Set the margins to 0 and clickOK. Then select your custom paper size in the size menu.Note:For roll paper, make sure the maximum width of your photo is set to 17 inchesto fit in the width of your roll paper (set the margins to 0 in your applicationsoftware).

I usually print on Exhibition Canvas Matt but for smaller jobs I decided to try Exhibition Canvas Glossy. It is really terrific, the print came out beautifully but with a little too much shine. I coated it with Clear Shield type C semi Gloss and it produced a perfect semi gloss seal. I print using an Epson 9880 using Photo Black this produces reasonable prints on Matt canvas which are enhanced by the Clear Shield sealer. Photo black ink and gloss canvas produce more pleasing color density, in my opinion, combined with the Clear Shield product. 5

I use the canvas with a Epson 4880 and have had no issues printing. The roll feeds well into the printer the ink dries quickly. I read other reviews saying they had issues with the ink not fixing to the canvas well, but I have not had that issue. 5

I print on this material with an Epson 3880 which does not accept roll paper. This is accomplished by cutting appropriate lengths from the roll and feeding them into the front feed slot. The canvas should be very carefully marked so that the section that is cut from the roll is cut exactly at 90 degrees to the length of the roll. (I use a T-square and a ball point pen to draw a straight cut line and then cut carefully with 8 or 10 good quality shears) The way to get this done is to insert a large support sheet into the front feed slot and then insert the canvas on top of the support sheet. Then align the canvas and remove the support sheet. When printing starts, you may want to re-insert the support sheet as the canvas begins to feed out of the front of the 3880 so that the leading edge of the canvas does not drop down below the paper guide. Once the canvas is over the paper guide, the support sheet can be removed. Using Epson's custom profile for this canvas produces spectacular color images. You may also want to try increasing the color density in the Paper Configuration menu. I usually use +20%. I have not tried B&W printing on it as yet. 5

It's a little difficult to find all the correct printer settings but once they are figured out for your printer, the quality is fantastic. I am personally using it to print photos and paint over top and it works perfectly for both. It is a primed canvas that works perfectly for painting and creates beautiful prints in both color and black and white. 5

I have have just started printing on canvas and I enjoy it because it adds a twist to right photo. Hum is this painted or is it a photo? I like bright colors that get reflected back from glossy canvas, it gives a oil paint glow. I have tried using the Inkpress canvas sheets with limited success in feed them though my Epson R1900. The Epson roll far more stiff and I will using it going forward. To me the canvas is at its best for bright colored pictures like fall landscape shots. I have also done some family portraits but for portraits alone I thing I would go with semi-gloss or matte canvas. If you have not tried canvas give it a whirl. 5
