I used this battery with the A1 Flash. I photographed a University Convocation. There were about 450 students photographed in 1 hour, 2 shots per student. This flash never failed once, plus the power was consistant and produced perfect exposure. This beats out Canon & nikon flashes. Plus I shot all of them vertical and NO SHADOW down one side. The most versatile flash I have ever used. 5

Always good to have a second battery. Only thing I wish is that they included a soft pouch or cover for it to protect the contacts. 5

The a1 is such a killer flash. SUPER fast recycle. The extra battery is a good idea. Though it seems the battery itself keeps going endlessly. The specs on the flash say 350 full power flashes. I have not run one out yet on an average corporate event for 4 hours. I love the way this battery snaps into flash and the same on charger. Just a great part of a great flash system all around. 5

Profoto batteries do last a good long while, but never never never go out on a job without a backup. Just keep one on the charger so there's a fresh one in your bag. always. 5

You always have to have a spare battery when you are out shooting on location. Drop this in your pocket in a plastic bag or case and you are good to go. You can shoot a long time with one battery, but from time to time, on a busy shoot, I have needed a second battery. 5
