Safeguard your lens with the Lens Cover for Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L from LensCoat. This water-resistant neoprene cover is custom-built to fit tightly around your lens, and helps protect it against bumps and scratches that may occur while you are out shooting. The neoprene material also acts as a thermal barrier between your hands and the lens, making operation more comfortable in extreme heat or cold.

For simplified operation, the cover features two plastic windows over the distance scale and auto-focus and focus limiter switches. A small hole on the base of the cover allows you to view the red dot indicator, making it easy to line up your lens with the camera mount. The Realtree Max5 design features a wide variety of plant-like patterns, including tall grains such as wheat and oats. This makes it well-suited for hiding from birds and other types of wildlife in many different environments. This product is made in the USA.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this also fit the Tamron 24-70mm 2.8?

A: I'm really not sure but I very much doubt it. Check the physical dimensions of both lenses on the manufactures web sites but even then they would need to be the exact same shape which is unlikely.

Q: 2. You hoods look great and seem thinners than other ones I have seen. what is the best hood for the following lens: 1. Tamron SP70-200 77mm w/ hood attached. 2. Sony 16-50 72MM SSM w/hood attached?

A: I dont use Tamron lenses. I use only Nikon pro lenses, and the hoods that come with them. I think the best hood for any lens is the one made by the manufacturer. Its not the thickness but the shape that matters. Hoods become a pain to keep matched with lenses when they're all in my bag together, so I mark the focal length on the hood somewhere. Just write it on a small piece of paper and stick it on the hood. Hoods are a bit bothersome to use, esp. on a long lens, but its important to always use them to prevent extra light from sneaking in and ruining the exposure. I know you didnt ask this, but the best lens by far Ive ever used is Nikon 24-70mm. Stunningly sharp. It is expensive. If you want professional results, use professional gear.

Q: 3. Will this cover the Nikon Z 24-70 2.8 S lens?

A: No, the following lens coat is for the Nikon AF-S Zoom 24-70mm f/2.8G ED autofocus lens.

Q: 4. Does this fit the 400 2.8 ii non is?Can't find the difference in specs between the i and ii

A: I contacted LensCoat with your inquiry. Unfortunately, they do not have a LensCoat designed for the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM (non-IS) lens released in 1996. Due to the small design differences between the lenses, none of the current LensCoat options would be compatible for use with the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM lens you own. LensCoat states that if you contact them directly and if they can find a copy of the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L II USM lens, they may be able to make a custom LensCoat for $195.00. I hope that helps.

Q: 5. what size realtree lenscoat hoodie fits the canon RF 70 -200f2.8L?

A: The LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (Large, Realtree Max4 HD) is the best fit of that for the Canon RF 70 -200f2.8L, But it is a touch too large and the next size down is too small. We do suggest a different brand and it is this one, https://bhpho.to/40HqusU .

Q: 6. Does anyone use these lens coats on Canon lens'? I have a 24-70 Id like one for but want it to fit snuggly or a 70-200

A: Yes, trick of the trade if you apply to your lens and warm with blow dryer. They shrink just a lil for that perfect fit.

Q: 7. what size fits the canon 400mm 2.8 iii?

A: The XXXX-large is the one that will fit. You can click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/508943-REG/LensCoat_LCH4XLBK_XXXX_Large_Hoodie_Lens_Hood.html

Q: 8. Size for canon 35-70?

A: Hello IraThe two Lenscoat medium Hoodies I bought were to replace the original plastic lens covers provided by Canon. It was taking too much time to remove and replace these plastic covers in the field so I now use Lenscoat hoods for all my lenses from 600mm down to 17-40mm.The medium hoods are for my 300mm f4 and 400mm f5.6 lenses that have a 77mm diameter. (They take 77mm filters) These hoods provide a loose fitting which is fine for me. You should check your lens diameter and make your choice on that. Based on my findings for a lens with 72mm or smaller diameter I use a smaller size than medium. The hoods are of high quality and provide extra benefit in that they don't get lost as easily as the plastic covers. I wholeheartedly recommend them.RegardsTerry

Q: 9. What size for Nikon 500mm PF?

A: Hi, the correct size for the Nikon 500mm PF lens is X-Large.

Q: 10. What size hoodie do I need for the lens shade on tamron 150-600?

A: I use mine on a canon 100-400, about 3 1/4 in diameter and it works fine. Measure the diameter of your lens or see what the Specs say it is. Should fit fine.

I learned that his lens hood cover is actually pliable comfortably fit. It should be called a Lens comforter, not to big and not to small.
Just right.
Un fortunately it doesn't' stretch quite enough to go over the lens hood when in the stowed configuration.
But this is a good way to protect this glass when stored or in the fiend.

In the past, I've always used the plain black LensCoat Lens Covers, but with these Realtree Max4 covers (both this one and the one for the 500mm PF) give me the feeling that the wildlife I'm shooting pictures of can't see me. These work where ever I'll be shooting - from Colorado to Kenya.

I have the Voigtländer LH-10 lens for my Voigtländer 50/1.2 VM Nokton ASPH. It's not a small hood but does the job well. This lensCoat Hoodie fits nicely. I don't need to squeeze inside it to attach my lens cap. We all know they can fall off, especially if we're sloppy putting it on or maybe bump the lens hood on something. With the Hoodie, I not only protect the the lens but the expensive LH-10 lens hood as well.
