The Tiffen 77mm Deep Yellow #15 is commonly used for a noticeable increase in contrast with black and white films. It is also used to increase the separation of clouds and sky in black and white photography.

Great for timelapses. However some say this is the only filter you need to have in your kit. of course that's not true... Im buying more of these. 5

The filter works as advertised. Be aware that sensors have 50% of their pixels in the green so the camera firmware compensates for that. When using the IR filter and daylight white balance a slight green cast could be apparent. Easily fixed by shooting in RAW and/or switching to AWB. 5

I have the 10 stop (3.0), 6 stop (1.8), and this 3 stop (0.9) Tiffen IRND filters. These filters cover my needs for ND filters. I have not noticed a color shift when using these filters. The metal rings are well made and the threads are smooth, they attach without binding. 5

Great filtration. I will be using this quite a bit on the A7s. The only issue is that it leans a little more towards the green spectrum. Make sure you adjust your image in the camera accordingly. Other than that, it's a solid buy. 5

I bought this for an upcoming China shoot and paired it with my Sony A7s. I had to return this for the Tiffen 1.2 IRND. I wasn't unhappy with the 2.1 at all. What it came down to was that: I wanted a little more room to create a larger depth of field. This filter does however bend towards a green shift, so make sure you compensate for that in camera. 5

I use this filter for landscapes and it does a great job at allowing me to expand my shutter speed and capture flowing streams during mid-day. It also enhances the saturation a smidge. Great product! 5
