many thanks to your representative who figured out which surge power strip would be compatible with my window air conditioner and emailed me a link to order it. it allowed me to turn on/off my AC from the strip instead of reaching low to the AC. in contrast the power strip from another company allowed the fan setting but turned off immediately on the AC setting. 5
