$93.00 $141.36

The Realtree Max5 Gimbal Pouch from LensCoat is a neoprene pouch that accommodates most gimbal-style tripod heads including the Wimberley Head WH-101, WH-200, and the Jobu head. As a result of its odd shape, a gimbal head is especially prone to nicks, dings and scratches of accidental impact during travel and transport in the field. This soft neoprene pouch will protect the gimbal head itself and the equipment stored around it. An easy pull cord closure allows fast and easy access. The Realtree Max5 camouflage pattern offers maximum effectiveness in open terrain. The pattern incorporates cattails, reeds, cane and grasses to blend into flooded marshes, plus corn, wheat, oats and sunflowers to hide you in open fields.

Q: 10. Can this rain cover be used in conjunction with a Gimbal head that is mounted on my tripod?

A: I would say yes. I use a pan and tilt head not a gimbal and the rain coat works fine. The way it attaches leaves the lens foot and plate exposed.

I needed a cover for the front of a new 4 refractor telescope. There were no hard covers available in the size I needed so I looked at what B&H had. The small Rain-Cap cover looked like it would work for my needs so I ordered one. It arrived and fits perfect! Problem solved. Great company to deal with. Always was, always will be. Thanks B&H! The hoodie completes the protection provided by my Rain coat. I now have a package which allows me to go out even in sleet as I did earlier this week and capture unique images I was afraid to go for in the past

The beauty of the RainCap is that it is so easy to puton/take off. The factory lenscaps that come with high-end super-telephotos are clunky, heavy, and take way too much time to use. By the time you remove your factory cap, the bird is gone, or the fox has retreated into it's hole. The Raincap comes off with the flick of a wrist and fits easily into your pockets, unlike factory caps. Coupled with a matching LensCoat, it's the perfect protection for your expensive glass.
