Q: 1. Does the Medium Wide fit the Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8?

A: I cant say for sure, because I don't own a 24-70, but I do have the 28-74, and that fits, with room to spare.

Q: 2. The description says it Included with the product is a removable front element protection disc for lenses. I am thinking the front element protection disc is to be left in to help protect the lens. I'm not clear as to why removing the disc is beneficial. It's listed as a feature that it is removable, but I can't figure why that is a benefit. Can someone explain?

A: Having the removable front element protection disc is beneficial in the event that it needed to be replaced at some point.

Q: 3. can this fit a Tamron 150-600mm vc with hood (reversed)?

A: No I don't believe it will, I purchased this case for the Tamron 70-200, which it does fit but is pretty tight. The case measures 11 inches tall, but when you pull the draw string to close the case the useful part of the case is between 8.5 to 9 inches.I have a Tamron 150-600 on back order and will be ordering the LowePro Lens Case 13x32cm for it

Q: 4. Would this size be appropriate for the Nikkor 70-200 with caps and hood reversed?

A: No the Large Wide Lens Coat Lens Pouch would not be suitable for theNikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens. However, the LensCoat LensPouch (Extra-Large, Black) BH #LELCLPXLB can work. https://bhpho.to/3wVKHOS

Q: 9. Will this fit a Canon RF 24-70 f/2.8 IS? The lens with hood reversed is a bit over 6". If not, what size do you suggest?

A: The large-wide size of the LensCoat LensPouch would be suitable for a Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens.

Q: 10. Will the large fit the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 SP Di VC USD? Physical size of lens is 3.39 x 7.76 inches. Not sure if the 4x8 nature of this case allows for the cinching of the bag.

A: You would best be advised to buy the X-large instead. I have the large unit and I keep a Canon EF 75-300 mm telephoto lens in it. My lens is about 6.75 inches in length, and I have about 1.5 inch left at the top to pull the closure completely closed. Your Tamron lens would be a VERY tight fit; and possibly not have extra room for complete closure. It is possible that if you buy the X-Large unit; you may even have enough height to store the Tamron lens with a lens hood (if you use one) installed. The Canon lens I have stored in my Large bag does not have enough height to allow me to keep the lens hood on it while in the Large bag. I hope this helps you.

I purchased this pouch to carry various pieces of equipment in my camera backpack. Currently I have a Manfrotto Super Clamp in the pouch and with the thickness of the walls of the LensPouch, I am not concerned about other pieces of gear getting damaged. The LensPouch is very well built and perfect for my needs.

With the lens hood on my 80mm to 400 mm it is a bit of a pain to place the lens cap on the lens. The LensPouch makes keeping the lens covered an easy task. Also the lens is a telescoping barrel which lends itself to dust on the barrel getting into the lens housing and possibly causing issues. The LensPouch covers the lens nicely to reduce this problem with not in use. The material is soft and tying up the end around your lens is very easy. A good product.
