The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Detachable Waterproof 2.5mm Connector for Lectrosonics Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a waterproof 2.5mm connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonics WM wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Q: 3. Is it compatible with the Sennheiser FreePort lavalier kit?

A: Theoretically, yes. The Sennheiser Freeport wireless system is no longer available and as such cannot be tested with current products. Nonetheless, the wiring on the Freeport is the same as the EW wireless systems- and the UTM-86-35H is designed to work specifically with the Evolution Series wireless system. There should be no issue.

Q: 4. Will the connector twist and lock securely to a Tascam DR-10L?

A: Yes, the Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic with 3.5mm Connector for Sennheiser & Senal Wireless Transmitters is compatible for use with and will lock securely onto the 3.5mm input connection on the Tascam DR-10L Micro Portable Audio Recorder.

Q: 5. Does this have a mircodot connector? Is it compatible with DPA lavs?

Q: 9. How this lav compares to the Senal OLM2? thanks!

A: This mic is a little bit smaller than the ME2, and the performance is usually better. This Senal mic will usually be a better choice if you need to hide the microphone. I do think the ME2 mic is usually more durable though, and may be a better choice if that is a concern for your use. I would also recommend considering the Senal OLM-2 as an option, which is nearly identical to the ME-2: https://bhpho.to/300xXJB

Q: 10. Does it interfere with the DJI Wireless Mic like the Rode Lavalier Go?

A: The Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic would not be recommended for use with the DJI Mic because of its locking connector, which has been known to block connection with the DJI Mic's transmitter units.
