The JBL VMA1120 is a Commercial Series Bluetooth-enabled mixer/amplifier designed to provide flexible multi-source mixing and amplification for installation in restaurants, educational institutions, fitness centers, and retail stores. It features a 5-in/1-out mixer and 120W of output power. It can be installed in a standard 19” equipment rack with the supplied rackmount kit or set on a surface such as a desk or ledge.

Stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth or connect a USB drive to the front-panel USB Type-A port. Route other sources via Euroblock, RCA, and 1/4" input jacks. The integrated mixer offers level controls as well as bass and treble for each channel. Routing to the Euroblock outputs is configurable. The VMA1120 supports voice-activated ducking and priority muting. The front-panel controls and display make operation easy, and remote volume control is possible via a JBL CSR-V module and a standard Ethernet cable (both available separately).

Q: 1. Can you show me the wiring diagram

A: JBL has not posted the wiring diagram (schematics) for the CSA 1120Z but they do have the user manual available. Here is a link: http://jblpro.com/en/product_documents/csa_5040963_en_140120pdf--2 You can contact JBL directly to request a wiring diagram. Q: 2. What do I check if there is no sound when I pair with bluetooth to my phone?

A: You will first need to verify that your indeed paired correctly. Go to your devices setting, and then Bluetooth, and make sure that you are connected to JBL VMA160. Then, make sure your device's volume is up, start at about 50%. Next, go to the VMA and make sure that input channel "music" is turned up, and that the Master volume (all the way to the right) is also turn up. Start all the way down and slowly increase the Master volume, as not to push too much signal. If you continue to experience issues connecting, please give us a call at 800-606-6969 and a Pro Audio Product Specialist will be happy to assist.

Q: 3. Does it come with server mount brackets

A: No, the brackets for the Crown Audio 135MA 3 x 1 35W Commercial Mixer/Amplifier are available separately. The Crown Audio RM1 Rack Mounting Kit for 135MA/160MA (B&H # CRRM1) is for mounting a single amplifier in a rack and the Crown Audio RM2 Rack Mounting Kit for 135MA/160MA (B&H # CRRM2) is for mounting two amps side-by-side.

Q: 4. Why Is there no 70 volt output on my p912mk2?

A: The TOA P-912MKII features 4 and 8 ohm outputs as well as a 25V and 70v output on screw terminals. Please refer to page 6 of the manual for the location of this connection. http://bit.ly/1M5Yfvh

Q: 5. Does this include the rack brackets with purchase?

A: Yes. The rack mounting kit is included.

Q: 6. The amp is listed as 120 watts and there are two output channels. So, the amp is 120 watts per channel, correct? In other words, in a 70v application with two separate chains of speakers, each chain would have 120 watts available?

A: This amp is 120 watts per channel. In a 70v setup, each amp is putting out 120 watts.

Q: 7. Are the XLR modules included?

A: XLR modules are not included with the Toa Electronics A-912MK2. They can be found here: https://bhpho.to/40gEUzM

Q: 8. Can this be used with wireless speakers, such as JBL Control X Bluetooth Wireless Speakers?

A: No, the bluetooth function is as an input source, not for streaming out to speakers.

Q: 9. How can I turn off the amplifier's sleep mode?

A: We are having BIG problems with the Sleep Mode. Even when there is signal, the unit is going in to sleep mode. We stood in front of a group of 15 at a church yesterday, all of them angry that we don't have a solution for this. Most times the unit does not come back on with signal, we have to power cycle, which causes a significant pop in the speakers.

Q: 10. Does this have phantom power?

A: Yes this unit has Phantom Power available on the rear.
