There is nothing that I don't love about this light:if it is either for long throws (far away subject) or something pretty close (just throw a bit diffusion perhaps), this light will give you a round, stylish look. Great for overall applications, studio or outdoors.

I use this for still life art, product photography, and portraits. The build quality is excellent. I bought this with the Barn door set and a single scrim. My room is small and so I can often get away with using a 500 or 300 Watt light. I have the choice of all three with this Arri. There is less heat, and lower energy use when possible is a money saver.

This is the real thing providing a good focusing lens. Flood may not be wide enough for some uses but plenty wide for most. The engineering is BMW quality. The unit is sturdy and well made. You'll buy 5 cheaper instruments that will fall apart long before this (or any) Arri lamp will. Buy this if you need 650 watts of pro light.

I use these Arri Fresnel light for short films, music videos and interviews. They are light weights and easy/smooth to focus.

This light is straight forward and compact. It's simple in the design but gives you a lot of options for lighting situations. Only complaint is that the strap to hold the cord can melt.

I wanted to add hot lights to my flash-based studio, so bought 4 of these. Excellent!

I have four of these lights and use them for Classic Hollywood type glamour and figure studies. I use them with dimmers to control the amount of light that they emit and keep the models comfortable. The ability to focus the light is a big plus and of course with continuous lighting WYSIWYG. The lights do get hot but once you understand that there are two cool places where you can grab them you'll have no burn issues. I use them with the barndoors and snoots when needed and these accessories are well integrated and attach easily to the light fixture. The AC cord is about 20' long.

This Light is the perfect Light to be used for small setups, Music videos, etc... Very Very Durable.
