Designed specifically for use with the Cambo ACTUS view camera system, the ACTAR-90 is a 90mm f/4 lens for use with DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Its seven element optical layout utilizes multi-coated glass for a high degree of contrast and color fidelity, and its standard focal length is well-suited for a variety of shooting applications, ranging from product and food subjects to fashion. The lens is permanently mounted in an ACTUS lensplate for seamless installation and removal with the view camera system, and features a manual aperture ring for adjustment from f/4 to f/22.

Designed specifically for the ACTUS view camera system, this 90mm f/4 lens is permanently mounted in an ACTUS lensplate and maintains infinity focus with both DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. It is not compatible with the ACTUS-DB system.

The standard focal length is ideally suited for product and tabletop photography, as well as fashion and food applications.

Offering an image circle of 90mm, this lens covers full-frame and medium format DSLRs and medium format camera sensors and allows for sufficient movement to be applied in order to achieve extended depth of field.

A seven elements, seven groups optical design affords a high degree of sharpness and resolution, and each individual element is multi-coated to suppress flare and ghosting for maintained contrast when working in strong lighting conditions.

Manual aperture ring affords control from f/4 to f/22 in half-stop increments.

But the Canon has a larger image circle, 67.2mm and the Cambo has 60mm. Meaning you have more shift on the Canon lens over the Cambo lens.

I bought a B&W ND filter but couldt find out the right size of the outer ring on the filter it's self.. The Guys at B&H were good enough to use calipers to find out that it was 90 mm instead of 85 mm that was advertised. .Thanks for the help.. The cap fits good and time will tell.. 5

Unsurprisingly, the 90V delivers as expected with superb sharpness edge to edge and fast and accurate focusing (for a Hasselblad lens). Some vigneting but easily corrected in LR/Phocus. The surprise was that its leaf shutter is much louder than the 38V's, but that's not a deal breaker! 5

High quality portrait and short telephoto lens. Very sharp. Downsides are weight and very loud leaf shutter. With a 71 mm functional equivalent length, this is not a walking around lens. However, it’s supplements the 38 mm nicely. 5

This lens is insanely sharp, especially at F4. The field of view is nearly as narrow as the 80 f1.9 but with a lighter body and much better optics. Autofocus is very fast and face-detect works great. All of this makes for a perfect portrait lens - even the vignetting adds to it! What this lens is not is a macro lens - it focuses as close as any vintage lens at this focal length and as long as you have no expectation of capturing small things, this is really not an issue. The only issue you may have is the shutter sound - it's the loudest of all XCD lenses I've tested. This has not been a problem with me since I use this lens for portraits and landscapes, but anything requiring stealth is a no go - I've had to turn my electronic shutter on to take pictures of my cat. But even this is worth it for the pictures I've been able to take! 5

All the great things you have read or heard are true. Also it has a loud shutter, but that doesn’t bother me. I also have the XCD 25mm f/2.5 V lens, and it also has a loud shutter. Both are very sharp, and well build. 5
