Q: 1. Hi guys, My pad says that I have a fault number 2 which means battery of the sensor is low. I removed it to change the battery, however I can not locate the battery. Is there even one? Any idea to help? Cheers

A: This is a hard wired motion sensor, there is no battery. My suggestion is to contact the Alarm installer. Low battery can be the backup battery on your panel. or an RF alarm sensor.

Q: 2. Will this fit on my 5000 Stella?

A: This will not fit the Stella 5000

Q: 3. Is this d tap cable rated for more than 12V? Is it somehow more special than your standard Dtap-DC cable?

A: This cable is designed for Stella lights. The barrel size is not specified and it may not be suitable for all connectors.

Q: 4. What is the difference between Reflex S and Reflex Studio ? Is it only the fps or is there also a power difference ?

A: The main difference between the Light & Motion StellaPro Reflex Studio and the Light & Motion StellaPro Reflex S LED/Flash Head is that the Studio one is AC power and does not come with the battery handle and the S comes with the battery handle.

Q: 5. Does this fit for the 5000 or 8000 light?

A: Yes, the Light & Motion Dome Diffuser DM is compatible with the Light & Motion Stella Responder 5000 Rechargeable Utility/Remote Light and the Light & Motion Stella Pro CL 8000 Light.

Q: 6. Will it fits the StellaPro Reflex S LED/Flash Head?

A: The Light & Motion Dome Diffuser DM will not work with the StellaPro Reflex S LED/Flash Head.

Q: 7. How long is the cable from the tip to tip of the connectors?

A: Light and Motion does not list the length of the Light & Motion Car Cable for Stella PRO. Estimating this compared to there other cords the list it could be about 4 feet at the most.

Q: 8. can this be wired?

A: Yes, this needs to be wired. It cannot be wireless.

Q: 9. Do connections exist on tripod legs for connecting a carry strap? Looking at picture can't tell if they exist. Would like to purchase carry strap in addition.

A: The Vinten 3772-3 ENG Carbon Fiber 2-Stage Pozi-Loc Tripod Legs (100mm Bowl) - Supports 55.1 lbs (B&H# VI37723) does indeed have points for attaching a strap. Please see p.12 in the included manual.

Q: 10. What is the appropriate connector to go from this to the 3.5mm mic input of my Cannon vixia g50?

A: To connect the output from the Shure A15LA Line Adapter to the mic input on a Canon Vixia HF G50 Camcorder, you will need a cable with XLR 3-pin female and 3.5mm TRS male connectors like the Kopul XRSM 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Stereo Mini-Plug Cable - 1.5' (B&H # KOXRSM015B) or any similar cable with these connectors in the length you prefer.

I film live events using Canon XL2 cameras. The cameras are a great tool, but they do not accept line level audio input. It must be mic level. On one important shoot, I double checked with the audio technician if he would be able to provide mic level input. He told me that he could, but in fact he could not. I showed up to the shoot without audio tie in. I was forced to use my own mic system. At least I was prepared enough to do that. Never again. These little in line adapters do a fine job reducing line level to mic level without having to carry lots of other equipment. 5

I have always used Shure products simply because they are bullet proof and they always work. The A15LA is all of the above. I use it to go from a audio mixer XLR Bal line out into the XLR mic input from a Canon XL2. No buzzing, no humming, just good clear audio. 5

The Shure A15LA Line Adapter is a useful line-to-mic input matching device for small active audio mixers not having a balanced mic-level output. With appropriate patch cables this is a simple solution to connecting a small audio mixer to an in-house PA system for expanded inputs with local control. 5

It's a plug and play device we use to record in-air cockpit conversation for videos. All I know is that it works with everything from tiny voice recorders to more expensive cameras. Without it you'll get blasting, unintelligible cockpit conversations. It works. 5

I am using the A15LA-Line Adapters with a Zoom h4n. In my situation I am using strictly XLR connectors which means mic level into the Zoom (which also means distortion when not balanced properly) The A15LA-Line Adapters allow me to use XLR inputs into the Zoom with clean/no distortion from my signal input. The A15LA's fit in my field bag easily and take up very little space, look and are professional quality, and best of all get the job done right. I have NO criticism what so ever of this product. 5
