Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this meant to be used with an inkjet printer? If so, what paper settings?

A: Yes. The HP Production Satin Poster Paper is for inkjet printers. In a compatible printer choosing the satin setting should be an option.

Q: 2. Hi, I'm looking for a roll paper comparable to Epson Velvet Fine Art paper. Is Epson Legacy Textured paper comparable?

A: The Legacy textured Paper is much heavier & not exactly the same. I would recommend the "Moab Somerset Enhanced Velvet 255" follow this link https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?q=velvet%20fine%20art&filters=fct_brand_name%3Amoab%2Cfct_category%3Aroll_paper_19443%2Cfct_weight_3617%3A255gsm

Q: 3. Is this paper compatible with Epson Stylus Pro 9890? Also does the 200 ft roll fit the printer.

A: Yes the Pro 9890 will work with the 36"x200' Poster Paper roll.

Q: 4. Does this rollhave a 2 core?

A: No. This roll has a 3 core.

Q: 5. What is the paper weight?

A: Weight: 200 g/m per ISO 536 Test MethodThickness: 228 microns/9 mil per ISO 534 Test Method

Q: 6. does this paper fold without cracking? I would like to use it for a long concertina book and have been trying to find an art paper that won't crack when folded?

A: The problem you're having is that you want to fold against the paper's grain, as I assume your long length is coming out of the 50' dimension of the roll. Any inkjet paper will crack to some degree. You should be able to mitigate this by scoring the paper before folding, using a tool designed for such (google: paper scoring tool), or in a pinch use a ruler and paper clip. You want to put the score on the side of the paper away from direction of fold (not on the inside the fold).Alternatively, you could consider getting a 36 or 44 roll and cutting the strip you want to inkjet out of this roll (assuming 36 or 44 would be long enough for your brochure?). This would mean you'd be folding with the paper's grain anyway, though you'd probably still want to score the paper before folding anyway just to help.

Q: 7. How do Epson papers fair with Canon inks? Any issues with bonding?

A: It would work, but there wouldn't be anny Epson ICC profiles for a Canon printer, so you would not be getting the best possible results from the paper

Q: 8. Does this paper require Matte Black or Photo Black in the printer? Another way of getting at this: What is the appropriate ICC profile? I do not see it listed in my printer menu; I have Photo Black loaded in the printer, which means the software lists, fo the most part, only ICCs that use PK. . . But I also am not finding any ICCs on the Epson website (says the ICC for this paper comes with the software), so I am guessing this paper requires MK (Matte Black). . .Any help will be much appreciated!

A: This is a polypropylene-base media and will need to be printed with the Photo Black ink cartridge. The ICC profile is supplied with the Standard Epson Driver.

Q: 9. Can i print photos??

A: Yes, you can use it for photos. It is mainly designed for display purposes like a poster or sign.

Q: 10. Does this come in a 24" wide roll?

A: BH #HEPSPP24300 is a 24" roll.

Stunning! What you see is what you get from monitor to print, as long as you are calibrated and use proper profiles. Elegant paper. Highly recommended.
