A: As long as the ring light you wish to use has a standard 5/8" female receptacle on the base of the unit designed for use with light stands, then the ring light may be mounted onto the Avenger A2018FCB C-Stand (Black, 5.7'), B&H # AVA2018FCB. If the ring light is not designed for use on a light stand and has a different connection, then you would need an adapter to convert the connection on your ring light to the 5/8" female stud receptacle.

A: Im sure it can be done with the right grip gear, but i wouldnt do it myself... no idea what you are trying to accomplish but i think a small camera stand would be the way to go, something heavier and with an arm to make handling the camera a lot easier. This is a great light and grip stand! Not a good camera stand.

I originally purchased a less expensive stand, but not realizing that that I if had to put a mono light on it I was afraid it won’t hold. So, this is the second Avenger light stand I purchased, no comparison in attainable height, weight and construction build. Don’t skimp on something that might tip over, worth every dollar I spent. Exactly what I was looking for! With a bit of wiggling, this can fit in my Manfrotto lightstand bag. It just fits! It has a fairly wide stance, just fyi, but works great for my job (wedding photography). The measurements are accurate in that they are about 35 fully folded together, which makes them easy to handle. It is not air-cushioned, but that was clearly not in the description. (they are also heavy, so be wary if you want to carry 4-5 at a time, they will provide you with a good workout). Overall, very happy with this item. 5

I've used one of these stands for over 20 years and they are awesome. We'll built and sturdy enough for heavy monolights. Highly recommend over cheaper brands. 5

I purchased these stands to go with my new Luxli Timpiani LED lights. They are strong. I have no fear of walking away with these stands supporting my lights. The best part of handling the stands is that the weight is not an issue. Carry and move them all day long without getting tired. 5

The lightstand is very solid built. I used it to hold my portable video light. I have no issue to extend it to the max height. I will recommend to get this instead of some other cheap light stands. It is an investment 5

This has almost the sturdiness of a C-Stand, but is much lighter and easier to transport. Overkill for smaller lights, but they are strong enough to attach a boom pole for microphones or a small light at the end of a boom. 5

I use this for my Aputure NOVA P300c - which is quite heavy.. but this stand is fantastic and with a sandbag can hold a serious amount of weight securely. 5
