The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Detachable 3.5mm Locking Connector for Azden Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a 3.5mm Locking connector for direct connection to an Azden older 41BT and 10BT wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the Rode Wireless Go?

A: Yes. You just won't be able to utilize the locking feature. Alternatively, Rode now offers the Lav GO for the Wireless GO https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1496007-REG/rode_lavgo_lavalier_go_omnidirectional_lavalier.html

Q: 2. How this lav compares to the Senal OLM2? thanks!

A: This mic is a little bit smaller than the ME2, and the performance is usually better. This Senal mic will usually be a better choice if you need to hide the microphone. I do think the ME2 mic is usually more durable though, and may be a better choice if that is a concern for your use. I would also recommend considering the Senal OLM-2 as an option, which is nearly identical to the ME-2: https://bhpho.to/300xXJB

Q: 3. Due to the large size of the included mic I am looking for a compatible mic with a smaller head. My Senal UTM-86 LAV MIC w/3.5mm-SENN does work, but the audio levels are very low. Could the Rode Lavalier II Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with its Operating Voltage or Plug-In Power of 1.5 to 5 V be used with the F2? Will the F2 provide enough power to the Rode to give the necessary audio levels? Or which mic could be recommended?

A: Yes, like the Senal UTM-86-35H Lavalier Mic with 3.5mm Connector for Sennheiser & Senal Wireless Transmitters, the Rode Lavalier II Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone is a suitable option for use with the Zoom F2 Ultracompact Portable Field Recorder.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Zoom H1?

A: Yes it will work OK, if you connect EX505U in the input LINE IN for microphone.

Q: 5. This lav seems to have a low sensitivity relative to rode, senn and tram offer g's yet the reviews are great. Does it mean it needs more gain to work well?

A: This mic is considered standard sensitivity, but is lower than some of it's competitors. If you have situations with louder speaking talent, or singing, it is recommended to use a low sensitivity microphone.

Q: 6. Will this work with Tascam DRL 10 body lav?

A: It sure will.

Q: 7. Will this work as a Mic for a desktop computer?

A: If your computer has a dedicated 3.5mm microphone input, you will likely be able to record an audio signal using this microphone. However, this is not what the EX-505U was designed for and you might find the output level to be inadequate in this application. This microphone is really meant to be used with our wireless transmitters.

Q: 8. What is the guarantee on this lavalier?

A: The Lav by RODE comes with a limited one year manufactures warranty against defects

Q: 9. I want take input to my Zoom H1 - Handy Recorder. Does it's 3.5 mm does this?
