The CINEGEARS Camera Trigger Package for RED DSMC2 allows you to trigger record start/stop remotely for your RED DSMC2 camera. The single trigger button can also be programmed to alternatively bring up a shot review, close the iris, and perform various other functions that are available through the camera menu. The trigger is designed in the form of a 15mm rod so you can mount it on a compact single rod adapter on your camera rig. The included extension cable plugs into the trigger on one end and the camera on the other. The trigger package provides an effective way of operating certain functions of the camera while keeping your eye on the shot.

A: Yes it would work. The RED Gemini should be a DSMC2 body/brain and the Wooden Camera 15V Power Supply for RED supports both DSMC1 and DSMC2 bodies ( Brain)

Red chose a very tiny lemonier port, so the cable is very thin and needs some care to avoid damage. considering the realities, Teradek did a good job. 5

Originally received the wing grip for the V-Raptor, (an error on REDs part) which incidentally I also have. B&H promptly sent me the correct part and told me to keep the Wing Grip for the Raptor. That's some really good customer service. I was prepared to send the incorrect part back, but they said there was no need. 5

Super solid and fit perfectly on the Komodo for that little extra grip. Nice to have extra 1/4-20 holes on top too. 5

Got this for the Komodo X, fits perfectly and sits flush with the bevels of the KX body. I was also able to mount a crab clamp on the top for the microphone so the holes definitely come in handy. 5

Heres the thing about RED. Yes, all of their stuff is pricey. I find myself staring at my shopping cart thinking before I buy anything for my RED. After every purchase, though, I have had my expectations exceeded. You truly get what you pay for and this handle is no exception. The molded grip feels very comfortable, the programmable buttons are a fantastic feature, and the fact that it bolts into the side of the camera brain without obstructing any mounting holes on the top of the camera is a big plus. 5

Used it with the V-mount/IO expansion module and it worked as expected. You'll need to set the RTMotion controller to the ARRI trigger mode with this configuration. 5
