The Gitzo GIGT0545T Traveler Series 0 Carbon Fiber Tripod is a compact support system with legs that fold around the center column and optional head. These reverse-folding legs contribute to the tripod's folded length of just 14.4". It extends to 48.2" high and can hold up to 22 lb worth of gear. With the included short center column installed, the tripod can get down to 7.9" for macro or low-angle shooting.

The tripod employs Carbon eXact tubing for added strength and stiffness compared to the Carbon 6X tubes. Traveler G-lock is a pared-down version of Gitzo's G-lock, specifically designed for the Traveler tripods to reduce overall size. These legs feature space-saving feet that fit the Traveler series' compact design. A shoulder strap is included for easy carrying.

I have used tripods from various manufacturers, but GITZO has always been the best, showing what a tripod should be. Now all I have left is GITZO. I hope that it will continue to be a tripod that I have longed for. 5

I am very pleased I purchased this tripod!!!! It is lightweight and easy to pack in my camera bag. Sturdy to hold my full frame with a 24-105 lens and could hold more weight. Easy to set up, so allows for fast set up and take down. I’ve had several tripods and this is my favorite. I also like to be able to quickly change to the short column to be able to get it low to the ground. Super happy with my new tripod. 5

I ordered this Gitzo while travelling across US Southwest parks. It has been timely delivered to my hotel on the road. The tripod is extremely light and you can carry it almost like a trekking pole in one hand. It is also very compact folded and you can put it to a quite small backpack (mine has 24 liters) with all other stuff. Expansion of legs and setting tripod on the ground is quick. The ball head adjustment is smooth, position lock is steady. I use Sony A7 with 24-105 zoom and the tripod was steady even at a medium strong wind in the mountains. I removed Gitzo plate from the head and could easily fix my camera with an Arca plate on. This is my second tripod. I really appreciate the compact size and light weight of this Gitzo. It means I will take it more often on mountain trails. 5

This tripod is exactly what I was looking for. It's super light weight and packable while remaining reasonably sturdy. The ball-head is very smooth, especially compared to some manfrotto heads I've used in the past. The arca type compatible clamp is working very well with the 3 legged thing l-bracket i bought to use along with my a7iii. This set up is much more convenient than moving the ball head around every time I want to go from horizontal to vertical with my camera. Only wish that it had a bag hook underneath to add some more weight for when it's windy! 5

As an owner of a series 3 system tripod I'm used to solid stability. Needing to cut some weight out and be more more efficient. Don't let the size fool you. I support a Leica SL with SL 16-35 lens. The head adjusts quickly and easily with no sag. This folds over onto itself and stows on the bottom of my bag. It's an awesome tripod. 5

Lightweight, precision tripod and head. Can't fault it. I use it for night photography with a Canon 5D and heavy L lenses. The Gitzo does not let me down. Perfect for shooting on the go. The strap that comes with works fine but is fiddly. 5
