I love these diopters. Sometimes while shooting in the heat, my glasses fog and is hard to see with them. I take them off and shoot with the -3 diopter and can see much clearer than with my glasses. The only downside is that I need like a -3.7 and they don't make those. Also, I'm not sure if you lose contrast by attaching this to the viewfinder. Not sure who to ask, I think I noticed some but not sure completely. 5

I called Leica for advise on which diopter I would need and they recommended that I see my eye doctor for advice........We decided to try the +3 diopter and works great.....no need to wear glasses. 5

Works as described BUT you need to adjust the prescription for LONG DISTANCE, not reading! I've got +3.5 reading and +.05 long, so bought the +3 and everything was a blur! Returned it and will buy the +1.0 (the camera starts at -0.5 for some reason!) 5

Impressed by the quality of this product! Proabably shouldn't be as Leica's products - especially glass - are always great but didn't expect as good a product for the price. Great B&H service as always. 5
