The black 21445 Leveling Leg for Speaker Stand from Konig & Meyer is an adapter for leveling speakers on uneven surfaces such as stairs, steps, or sloped surfaces. It is attached to one of the stand's feet and can be used for stage, studio, or practice rooms.

Additionally, the required leveling length is variable and allows a height adjustment maximum of 7.9". If the surface is even, you can leave the adapter in the initial position on the stand's foot.

The leveling leg is compatible with the following K&M stands: 21300-009-55, 21302-009-55, 21435-009-55, 21436-009-55, 21460-009-55, 21460-009-76, 21460-009-81, 21463-000-55, 21467-000-55, and 24630-009-55.

I bought one of these almost 10 years ago from another vendor. I use it primarily as a monitor stand, but occasionally for lights as well. One of the most rigid and stable stands I have ever used. It is far more stable than any of the tube-legged stands I used. I I'm glad these are still being made because I came back to buy another. 5

If you want a stand that is relatively light, goes very high and has a rocky mountain leg then this is a great stand. Not cheap, but worth it over the life time of its use. 5

I shoot with my Profoto B1 for weddings and was looking for a sturdy stand with a leveling leg for use on uneven ground. The Avenger is more than sturdy enough to do the job with the fairly heavy B1 and the leveling leg provides even greater stability and security. The stand was pretty stiff and did not open smoothly the first few times I used it but it is nicely broken in now. It's somewhat heavy if you have to carry it a long way and it's not the easiest on the hands. I'm looking for a sling bag long enough to use with it. 5

This is one the best! Durability, support, size, flexibility, sensible weight, are all attributes of its design! I use mine exclusively outdoors with my Lastolite Ezybox II system, or Alein Bee 1600 strobe w/battery. With it's leveling leg, it lets me work on any terrain! This is one good stand, and based on my experience with it, highly recommended! 5

This stand is incredibly durable. I use it mainly as a stand for my boom pole and mic, but it would also be great for heavier lights. 5

...that is, if you want to record choirs and orchestras with really expensive microphones. You'll need to get a pair of AEA-LMT mic adapters. Don't forget 6 small sand bags, 3 per stand. You"ll feel much more confident with the sandbags in place, hoisting a microphone up to 14 feet high 5

Great light stands. Solid construction, very stable, not excessively heavy. My favorite feature is a thick rubber ring between each section - I doubt it'd do a whole lot to protect your fingers but it does muffle the clanging and banging that a lot of stands do. 5

I have all sorts of light stands that I use. These are some of my favorites! They are pretty heavy and sturdy, but not too heavy to carry around or store in tubes or cases. The adjustable leg is great too if you are ever on an uneven surface! 5
