Great product for fast flash sync with your camera

These cords feel very solid, thick wire, and sturdy connections, very happy with them 5 weddings so far, working just fine. I purchased these after having several cheaper brands either break on me, or quickly develop internal issues, rendering my PW useless at a wedding reception.

i use it to connect 580ex to a quantum freewire reciever.

I have a light meter with a built in pocket wizard, this cable allows me to attach pocket wizard to the Qflash. I can use my light meter to take a reading, and with the freewire system trigger the flash from the camera. I would have opted for pocket wizard controls, but at this time they do not have the mini supported for Nikon. I use several systems together - SB900 on camera, Freewire for Qflash, and Pocket wizard to use light meter. If they could build the Freewire into my lightmeter it would make my life a little easier. I could have purchased another Freewire transmitter, but since I had the pocket wizards, and the lightmeter has this built in - this was a very low cost solution.

It is a well made flash sync cord that does exactly what it is expected to do at a decent price

I like the 33 foot length as I can walk around a large room for my flash meter readings.

I purchased a few of these sync cords to connect PocketWizards to Nikon SB 28-DX speedlights in order to use them as off-camera strobes. The screw on the cord helps to keep it snugly attached to the speedlight. A noticeable improvement over the cord's predecessor, which was decent but occasionally came loose from the strobe. No longer a problem. Used these new and improved cords a few times already since purchasing about a month ago and have been very satisfied.

I was having trouble using an incident light meter with pocketwizards. I thought the problem might be with my connection between meter and wizard. This cord works fine (I checked it with other equipment), but alas, my meter is still giving me problems. I will keep the cord for other situations.

I use the PW Plus III's with this cable attached to my Canon Speedlites for real estate shoots. �Enables the speedlites and strobes to work together perfectly for complex lighting situations.
