The silver VAR2-W4-1 VARIO2 w4 Medium-Range White Light Illuminator from Raytec uses PLATINUM Elite SMT LED technology to deliver light to distances up to 361'. It features an interchangeable lens system with Hot-spot Reduction Technology to deliver even illumination. Easy to open and use, just keep in mind the size, this one is kind of big, so, just know what you want to use it for... Most of my uses are On location portraits, and for bouncing the light from the on camera flash... 5

This is the second one I've bought, since my assistant lost the first one. I've never been disappointed with any Westcott products. I find the square shape more useful than the circular ones made by photoflex. Also love using the black side as a negative fill. 5

Perfect size to carry in a bag everyday. I was a little hesitant that the sunlight side wasn't going to be golden enough, but it ended up being perfect. Actually, I wouldn't want it any yellower. My daily assignments often include profile and mug shots and this item helps turn a standard shot into a great shot. Well worth the cost. Keep in mind this is ideal for a single person head shot and sometimes a couple that's close i.e. engagement photos. 5
