        A: No, it will not work. The recoil of your air rifle is not the same as that of a high powered centerfire rifle. Scopes made for high end (powerful) air rifles have sual spring mounts internally to absorb recoil of an air rifle, much different from a centerfire rifle. A conventional centerfire scope will be ruined quickly on an air rifle, they are not designed for the type of recoil an air rifle produces. They are specifically engineered for centerfire recoil (this includes rimfire scopes also), not the type of recoil produced by an air rifle. So, long answer short: NO, do not use a centerfire scope on your air rifle, you'll turn it into an expensive paperweight.
