Which would be considerable if your interest is in reducing the level of your voice so as not to disturb your neighbors. It seems to have cut outs for your shoulders so it looks like your entire head fits in the box. It says you can remove the sides as well which you would want to do for recording. It seems like it will do what you want.

A: No. This will not work wth a broadcast arm. Regardless of weight it is not designed to be mounted in such a fashion.

A: It is definitely not intended for a shorter mic like the TLM 103, however that's the mic I'm using with it. To get it to work, I had to use the shock mount that came with the TLM 103, but flip it upside down. Fortunately, the mic can be threaded into the shock mount this way. Unfortunately, the ISO-Armor-2 has to sit on top of the shock mount, reducing the shock-absorbing effectiveness. The mic and ISO-Armor-2 are not able to float the way the shock mount is intended. The added weight of the ISO-Armor-2 would probably prevent this anyway. It's too bad I can't include a picture, because it'd be much easier to show. Just to be clear, the ISO-Armor-2 isn't a shock mount and doesn't provide any connection to a mic stand.
