Q: 1. I have a Nikon Coolpix L320 and I'm looking for a 67mm lense adapter. The lense is a vivitar HD4 MC AF HIGH DEFINITION 2.2X TELEPHOTO CONVERTER. Can I use any 67mm lense adapter. I'm new to photography, I'm learning all I can. Any recommendations on the 67mm lense adapter.

A: The adapter is for P series filters only. Not for adding lens etc.

Q: 2. will this work on my nikon?

A: Yes , just purchase the proper adapter ring. If your camera is 72mm is ok. Also consider that for telephoto lenses in wide angle positions like 35mm, you start getting shadow from the frame of the filter holder. So i use them for 50mm or larger angles.

Q: 3. The Formatt Hitech 85mm rectangular filters say they are compatible with this specific product, however, this product's specs say it only holds 84mm rectangular filters. Is the discrepancy important? What gives?

A: The Formatt Hitech 85mm rectangular filters will fit in the Cokin 84mm filter holder. There is enough wiggle room. Besides, what is a silly millimeter between competitors?

Q: 4. what is the difference between p and a filter series?

A: P is a larger size, better for wide lenses and lenses with large filter sizes.

Q: 5. I would like to try using the Cokin Graduated Neutral Density Filter Kit for P Series (B&H# COGNDKP Mfr# CH250). Is this adapter I would need to use with my B&H purchased Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens? Thank you in advance!

A: Yes, the 82mm adapter ring is the appropriate size for the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens.

Q: 6. Can i put in lee filters with 100-150mm or nisi filters

A: Unfortunately, this holder cannot accept Lee or Nisi filters in the 100 x 150mm size.

Q: 7. My Sony E-Mount lens is 49.5 mm diameter. Does Cokin make a lens adaptor ring to fit?

A: There is no filter thread that is 49.5mm. It is either 49mm or 40.5mm. Click on the links below to view the rings; https://bhpho.to/2C7w4yz https://bhpho.to/2ZBsUv8

Q: 8. Can you use this with a step down ring for a 72mm lens thread?

A: Yes, you will also need a step up ring from 72-82. Click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/809647-REG/Sensei_sur7282_72_82mm_Step_Up_Ring.html

Q: 9. I have 300mm nikon f4 lens and another tamon 24-70 g2 lens . I want to know which filter holder need, adapter ring which one to use?

A: I would get 82 mm and step down to 77 mm

Q: 10. I already have a Cokin kit of ring adapter/filter holder/filters for a 67 mm lens.I bought recently the Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens for Canon (with a 77mm diameter) and was wondering if I can use the (67mm) holder that I already have and just buy a 77mm ring adapter?Or do I need to buy the kit (holder and adapter)?Thank you.

A: Yes, you can still the same holder. You will just need a different adapter ring for the appropriate size filter threads of your other lens.
