A: No it will not. The original A series will only go to 62mm. This ring is much wider that an A holder as the A filters are only 67mm wide themselves.

You would need the Cokin P Series 52mm Adapter Ring (P452), B&H # COARP52, for the Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX lens.
