The M2TND IEM Digital Half-Rack Transmitter from Lectrosonics features transmission power up to 50 mW for extended operating range and locking XLR/TRS combo connectors, that facilitate up to four channels of analog audio sources. With ultra-low latency, 24-bit audio, and two stereo-digital channels, the M2T is an IEM transmitter for professional broadcast applications.

Built with a USB port for firmware updates and an IR port for fast setups, the M2T transmitter has a large, high-resolution backlit color LCD with large membrane switches for an intuitive interface visible in daylight or dimly-lit conditions. Analog signals are converted to an internal 24-bit digital format that is encoded, organized into packets, and passed to an RF modulator. The RF signal is filtered before and after amplification to suppress out-of-band noise and spurious signals.

Additionally, the M2T transmitter employs a technology that provides a frequency response from 20 Hz to 15 kHz with maximum channel separation. This digital audio technology eliminates a compandor and the associated artifacts, resulting in crystal clear sound, rock-solid stereo imaging, and low distortion.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use this with a SRa receiver

A: So long as your SRa receiver has the same frequency ranges as the LMb transmitter, the LMb transmitter will work with an SRa receiver.

Q: 2. Could these, along with the DCHR, be used as another set of talent wireless sets to be plugged into a mixer/recorder?

A: The Lectrosonics DCHT Wireless Digital Camera Hop Transmitter can be used together with the Lectrosonics DCHR Camera-Mount Miniature Digital Camera Hop Wireless Receiver as a wireless IFB system to send audio from a mixer/recorder.

Q: 3. Do non servo ta5f connectors work with the lmb transmitter?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics L-Series LMb Bodypack Wireless Transmitter and all other Lectrosonics transmitters with 5-pin inputs have servo bias inputs that can also be used with other conventional wiring configurations.

Q: 4. Can I use this device to transmit Zoom meetings? So my presenters can listen to the questions in ear?

A: Yes you csn send the audio from a computer into an audio interface or mixer and out to the Sennheiser ew IEM G4-Twin Wireless Monitor System Kit.

Q: 5. Can I get more than 50mw out of his unit? It's range is not good enough for my needs.Brian

A: By the way, Lectro says that 50mw in the duet series is like 125mw in the analog transmitters. I have no concerns about the range on my M2R/M2T combo - it does everything I need with no drop outs.

Q: 6. Is there a battery eliminator made for this?

A: No,at this time there are no battery eliminators or alternate powering options available for the LMb transmitter.

Q: 7. What is the expected runtime for the SMDWB on Eneloop Pro 2450s and Energizer Lithium (the data sheet only shows Alkaline, which seems possibly incorrect)?

A: The battery run time for the Lectrosonics SMDWB with AA lithium, disposable batteries is. At 50 mW (2 x AA): 14.5 hours and at 100 mW (2 x AA): 14 hours.

Q: 8. What frequencies does this transmit on?

A: The Sennheiser SR 2050 (A+) transmits on 470 MHz to 558 MHz.

Q: 9. Hello! This package have two receivers only; Can I use more receivers for same transmitter over same frequency?

A: Yes, you can add more recievers, which would all receive the same mix. The appropriate reciever is the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver with IE 4 Earphones (A: 516 to 558 MHz), BH #SEEKIEMG4A.

Q: 10. Am I able to use the lectrosonics IFB to tune into this transmitter? I didn't see an IFB mode.. just DHCT and DUET mode.

A: This unit is not compatible with the IFB model receivers. For an IFB receiver, you'd need a version of their IFBT4 transmitters in the corresponding frequency as the receiver. Such as this B&H # LEIFBT421.

The Sennheiser ew IEM G4 has worked perfectly right out of the box. There was essentially no set up required and there has not been a single issue. It has been used in a small, medium, and large venues, both as the only IEM setup in the venue and also along with several at a time. It has been used in a tv studio with a lot of wireless equipment being used at the same time and still no problems. I was a little bit anxious to order as the G4 is brand new and might be buggy but I haven't experienced that at all.

I'm extremely amazed at the quality of this device. I use it for DJ IEM monitoring and there is practically 0-latency for all intents and purposes. Being hands and wire free makes life so much simpler. Setup time was maybe 10mins (probably faster) since I was reading the manual first. Love the limiter and sensitivity functions. Pairing was easy . . .still just in awe of the superior quality of Sennheiser.
