The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sensitivity, with Detachable TA3F Connector for AKG Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.
Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to an AKG DPT700, PT40, PT45, PT60, PT61, PT80, PT81, PT400, PT450, PT470, PT2000, PT4000, or PT4500 wireless bodypack transmitter.
Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Standard, for most uses.

Q: 1. I've plugged this in to my recorder via the Senal PS-48B-35H Phantom Power Supply that's listed as a recommended accessory for this mic, with 48V phantom power turned on. However, I'm getting a very very low signal from the microphone, peaking at around -32Db even with the gain on my recorder turned all the way up. Did I get a dud or is there something I've missed here?
A: So you checked the gain, have you checked the fader? Is their a pad setting switched on the recorder or the Senal? My last suggestion is to check the voltage of LR44 batteries. Maybe they're about dead. Try switching to providing phantom power from the recorder.
Q: 2. Hello, what's the difference between this COS-11D and the one with the mini connector ? Both are advertised for use with the Sennheiser EW wireless system, but the mini connector version is more expensive.
A: No accessories will be included with this version.
Q: 3. Sound devices a20
A: This Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Microphone with Normal Sensitivity & LEMO 3-Pin Connector for Wisycom Transmitters may not work with the Sound Devices A20-Mini Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter and Recorder (B&H # SOA20MINI). The A20-Mini can be used with microphones that have a LEMO 3-pin connector wired for compatibility with Sennheiser transmitters such as the Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Microphone with Normal Sensitivity & LEMO 3-Pin Connector for Sennheiser Transmitters (B&H # SAC11ANSELBE), which is the same microphone with the appropriate wiring configuration.
Q: 4. How to do this? = "If you need to expand beyond that, you can use up to 18 Blink 500 systems at once to accommodate up to 36 wireless microphones."
A: Use up to two transmitters with each receiver Operate up to 18 systems simultaneously in the same environment. Saramonic Blink 500 TX Clip-On Digital Bodypack Wireless Transmitter with Omni Lavalier Microphone (2.4 GHz) B&H # SABLINK500TX: Part of the Saramonic Blink 500 digital wireless system, the Blink 500 TX clip-on bodypack transmitter is available as an individual component to expand your existing setup or have a backup transmitter on hand. Saramonic Blink 500 RXUC Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver for USB Type-C Devices (2.4 GHz) B&H # SABLNK500RXU: Part of the Saramonic Blink 500 digital wireless system, the Blink 500 RXUC dual-channel receiver is available as an individual component to expand your existing setup or have a backup receiver on hand. It features a USB Type-C connector for plug-and-play compatibility with Android devices and Mac/Windows computers equipped with USB Type-C ports.
Q: 5. Has anyone used it with the new RODE Wireless Go system? I am wondering if it would work and if there would be any loss in the quality of the sound compared with the Sennheiser systems...
A: You can use a COS11-D with the Rode Wireless Go system, but you will need a version of the mic with a standard non-locking 3.5mm TRS connector, as the transmitter for the Wireless Go does not use the same locking connector that Sennheiser and the other Rode wireless systems such as the Filmmaker Kit require. The Wireless Go is designed with standard 3.5mm connectors on the transmitter's mic input and receiver output, and intended to be very easy to use for general consumers.
Q: 6. A few reviews speak of the mic only working with G3/G4's when it is half plugged in. Is that due to buying the wrong 1/8 connector, ie for a differerent make of transmitter? Or is there a compatibility problem with the Cos11D and the Sennheiser EW range.
A: I see only one review posted for this mic where the customer noted a problem with connection to his Sennheiser transmitter. Without seeing both the mic and transmitter to evaluate, it is difficult to determine whether the issue may have been due to a defective mic or a problem with the transmitter. In general, the COS-11D is one of the most popular lavalier mics for various broadcast, film, and performance applications. This particular version of the COS-11D is wired for compatibility with Sennheiser transmitters such as the SK 100 G3 and G4 for the EW series wireless systems. Along with the manufacturer's warranty, B&H does have a 30-day policy for returns. So if you do decide to purchase and have any problem with the mic, let us know right away and we can set up an RMA to return the mic for exchange or refund. Just be sure to save all of the original manufacturer's packaging and don't register the warranty until you decide it's a keeper.

A: Receiver Weight 0.4 oz / 10 g.
Q: 8. Has anyone paired this with Diety Connect kit?
A: The COS-11D is compatible with the Diety Connect Kit and would sound amazing.
Q: 9. Will this work to replace a Shure MX153T/O-TQG earnest mic?
A: Yes it will
Q: 10. Will the Sanken COS-11D work with the DJI mic 2?
