Also the tripod has a 75mm bowl that the jib base fastens to. Very sturdy once assembled. Varizoom makes a solid leg tripod/ stand for ap. $900.00 You will need a heavy duty tipod for sure. It's a lot of weight with jib, camera, hot head and counter-weights. You will be happy with this jib. Set up is very quick. I just made an extension for mine it gets powder coated in 2 weeks!
