This AT-52 VentureMaxx Professional Aluminum Travel Tripod from Vidpro supports up to 18 lb, measures 14" when folded, and includes a ball head with quick release plate. Each of its 5-section legs features an independent spread, a three-position angle lock, and twist locks for rapid deployment. The AT-52 tripod can be set at a minimum height of 17" to a maximum height of 46", or 52" with its push-and-pull, rapid center column fully raised. Foam covers on two of the legs provide a secure and comfortable grip while moving the tripod, and rubber feet help to enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces.

Cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the quick release plate, which is secured to the tripod's ball head using a quick release clamp. The ball head is removable, provides up to a 90° tilt for portrait orientation, 360° of independent rotation, and can be locked into place along its range of movement.

For added versatility, the center column is reversible, facilitating low-angle photography where an attached camera is positioned among the tripod's legs instead of above them. Additionally, one of the tripod legs can be detached and configured as a monopod with a 16" to 56" adjustable height for use with the ball head.

A nylon carry bag with a zippered closure and shoulder strap is provided for storage and transport. Six spare anti-twist sleeves are also included for maintenance of the tripod's twist locks.

I use this ball head for travel and fit it on the "foot" I no longer use from a Three Legged Thing monopod. This ball head is surprisingly strong and seems very durable and well constructed. Features work well including nicely marked panoramic degrees guide. Definitely recommend it. Using it primarily for Olympus body with 12-100mm lens. 5

I bought a few of these and couldn’t be happier. Not only are they lightweight they are made from metal including the camera plate. The best part is that you can lock the ball with just a slight twist of the knob. No need to torque it down. I think this will hold an SLR with a medium sized lens, maybe more. I got the so that I could use it with my light stands, especially my compact background light stand for table top photography. Light stands can typically go up to 8 feet tall, something a tripod can’t do. Can also use these to mount speedlights if used with a quarter inch to hot shoe adapter. 5

This is an excellent monopod, especially for its price. I hike, travel, and usually take photos and VR videos out in nature. It is lightweight, (very) easy to use, and has a solid build quality. It even has its own bubble leveler which has been useful for me. Of all the times I have used it, it has been stable, even in somewhat windy situations in the mountains (at a lower height) If there were faults, I would say it would be the following: 1. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, you cannot keep the monopod extension locked if you need to use this upside-down. 2. The tripod feet pretty much only have one configuration - pretty flat. If you are on uneven surfaces, each foot does not really lock in place (let's say if you need to stand the monopod on a hill), especially if you have a heavier camera on top. That being said, I do not need these functions so it did not bother me, but I did notice these and want to share with you. FYI, I looked into the Bushman Monopod V2 and iFootage C180 Carbon Fiber as well when comparison shopping. I chose the Vidpro because the weight, although few ounces heavier than the Bushman, was much lighter than the iFootage, but had the same max height as the iFootage (~70 max height compared to Bushman's ~61) Very happy with my purchase. 5

This compact size ball head works great for my mirrorless cameras, such as Lumix G9 and Sony ZV-1. It even supports heavier DSLR such as Nikon D810. Easy to turn knob and not much strength to take to tighten knobs. Small plate also works well with my smaller camera like GX-85. I always enjoy good quality SmallRig accessories, and this one is no exception. 5
