Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the difference between this material and that of the Lee Filters 216 White Diffusion Filter Roll? The transmission and f-stop reduction seems to be the same.

A: No difference, it is the same material.

Q: 2. What is the Load Capacity?

A: According to Neewer, each stand has a load capacity of 22 lbs.

Q: 3. What's the lengh of this reducer?

A: The length of the Really Right Stuff Stainless Steel Reducer Bushing (3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20) is, 0.3"/ 7.6mm

Q: 4. Can you use this to support a 2.6' Syrp Magic Carpet slider?

A: The 117B has a load capacity of 39.68 lb. It will work with the 2.6' Syrp Magic Carpet slider.

Q: 5. OK: I think I have the answer to my question: This depends on how one is viewing the situation: this is a reducer if viewed from the object to be clamped, e.g., a camera clamp with originally 1/4 socket, and needs to be mounted to a tripod with 3/8 stud. I am looking for something that goes in the opposite direction: my tripod stud is 3/8 , and need to find a bushing that will reduce the TRIPOD 3/8 stud to 1/4 . The photo will be quite different for this type. Can the experts help, please??

A: Here you go. Impact Small 3/8 Female Threaded Adapter to 1/4 -20 Male Threaded Post B&H # IMCA103.

Q: 6. How much chemistry do you use? At this small level is the chemistry strong enough to develop the film?

A: Use 300 ml of chemistry in this tank. This is pretty much standard for 35 mm film tanks like the Patterson, and others. Rodinal at 1+50, HC-110 at 1:31, DD-X at 1+4, all work well in this tank at 300 ml. I would recommend the Hewes reel as some of the other stainless reels are cheaply made and not very good.

Q: 7. Is this really a reducer bushing? The specs show OUTER (outside) thread is 3/8 and INNER (inside) thread is 1/4 . The photo shown doesn't show a reducing type. Thanks.

A: I think you already answered your own question, its a 3/8 male by quarter inch female bushing. If your tripod is quarter inch male thread you can screw the 3/8 ball head on the tripod

Q: 8. Will this work with the Manfrotto MH055M8-Q5 Photo-Movie Tripod Head With Q5 QR Plate?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. What is the diameter of the lower part of the leg (the chrome silver one)? I have read conflicting information on the web...

A: Manfrotto lists the leg tube diameter as 1.38 - 1.18 inches. The lower part would be the smaller number of 1.18 inches.

Q: 10. Does this rag come with a storage bag? Does it come with the ties as well?

A: No. units are shipped in clear packaging. storage bag must be provided by end-user.
