Designed specifically for their CGX and CGX-L mounts, the Celestron 6x20 Polar Axis Finderscope makes polar aligning fast and easy, to improve GoTo and tracking accuracy. It is outfitted with an easy-to-use reticle that maps out the constellations of Octans, Ursa Major (Big Dipper), and Cassiopeia in relation to the North Celestial Pole to make finding the pole star fast and easy without the need to reference an app or date/time/location information. The finderscope comes with an articulated bracket that can be adjusted to place it in the most comfortable and accessible position for the viewing angle and OTA that is mounted on it.

A: The glass and mirrors on the Celestron EdgeHD 14" f/11 Aplanatic Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope (OTA Only) Used Cat #2560494 • MFR #91060-XLT are clean. Maybe some blemishes on the metal surface.. Used equipment still has the 30 day B&H return policy.

The arm is very sturdy. The scope feels quality. Even when you tighten the alignment screws you can still rotate the constellation reticule to match up to the orientation of the stars. 5

I have been looking for this telescope for past 3 months but the lead times are quite high. Fortunately it was in stock at B&H. They shipped it within a day and it arrived within the estimated time. The telescope was securely packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I'm very happy with the service provided by B&H. 5

The scope is everything that I expected. The manuals, not so much. The manual was written for earlier versions and there are some changes as well as simply missing information. If you are good at reading technical manuals between the lines, this should not be a problem. The Web is your friend! 5

First of all, this is a 2 week Review. Therefore, not enough time for things to fail. The mount setup and alignment is awesome. The GOTO was spot on with images centered in a C14 scope at f/11. I couldn't do that with my old CGE mount without using the "Precise GoTo" function. The "All Star Polar Alignment" was easy using the large knobs to manually center the star. Cabling management for "Auto Guiding" keeps the cable from getting tangled. Firmware updating was simple. One problem was the lead time for an out of stock item. This was not a problem from BH Photo, but rather a problem from Celestron products not being manufactured in the US. It took 3 months to get the mount after it was ordered. 5

The telescope is well made. The Edge HD series contains an added lens for a flat field with a 44mm image circle for full frame cameras. As received it is an f/10 with a long focal length of 2790mm excellent for planetary observation. With a reducer, 1953mm and with the Starizona Hyperstar V4, 540mm! This scope can be configured as 3 different telescopes. It also has mirror locks to manage mirror flop with an aftermarket focuser. 5
