The Rain & Dust Cover with Visor for SmallHD 702 Monitor from Porta Brace is a lightweight, custom-cut cover for your SmallHD 702 7" on-camera monitor. Designed to protect the monitor from rain, dust, and glare, the cover includes a 9" visor for optimal viewing in poor weather. Constructed of a water-resistant yet breathable Taslan nylon, this made-in-the-USA cover protects your monitor while enabling warmth to escape to help prevent overheating.

Additional features include a softly lined and padded visor rim for comfortable viewing and a bottom flap for easier access when mounting your covered monitor on your rig.

A: Yes, as it is also processing a cross conversion.

A: This was created for the original Shogun and may not fit the Shogun Flame or Shogun Inferno. Since the Shogun Flame and Shogun Inferno were only recently released Porta Brace has not yet made a specific case for it. Please keep an eye on our website for new product releases. It is possible rain covers for those recorders will be released in the future.

Q: 3. Does any one know if a 703 would fit in it?

A: We're afraid not. This is designed for the 702 model, which has a different design than the SmallHD 703. Porta Brace does offer the Monitor Case for SmallHD 703 Monitor, B&H # POMO703, which you could look at instead. https://bhpho.to/2JiXCo3

Q: 4. Does this have a flap opening at the top to allow Teradek wireless antenna to stick out?

A: No it does not. This is only designed for the Cine 7 without the Teradek Bolt integration.

Q: 5. Is there a good cable to power the monitor through the dc barrel from the 4pin 12V accessory port on the side of an ursa mini pro?

A: The only recommended DC power option for this is the D-tap power cable from smallHD

Q: 6. Does the monitor have a PQ mode for HDR?

A: Although the SmallHD 702 Touch, does not have a specific mode for HDR, it can utilize LUTS to display various HDR formats.

Q: 7. will this fit bmpcc 6K?

A: Yes, this rain cover is compatible with the BMPCC 6K

A: No, we do not have a rain cover specifically for the JVC GY-HM180Ultra HD 4K Camcorder with HD-SDI, but the PortaBrace Custom-Fit Rain & Dust Protective Cover for JVC GY-HM170U will work well with the JVC GY-HM180, so this cover could work if you are needing a rain cover for that camera.

A: Yes it is compatible with the Panasonic S5.

If you want to select the best 7 camera mount field monitor available, spend the extra and get the Small HD 702. It has two settings for brightness, the standard one for studio and an extra bright one for outdoor film making, in the sun. Couple with a SmallRig cage and shade, you will not regret this. It is a serious piece of equipment, well built out of a solid piece of aluminum. Two mounts for Sony Type L batteries. Full side HDMI i/o. Then the fun begins when you make pages with your favorite LUTs or evaluation tools. No regrets. Spend the extra bread and be happy. 5

Got this on sale from B&H's DealZone for $1200. The price has typically kept me away from the SmallHD SDI monitor's but this one was a steal for the price. Total confidence using all of the monitoring tools and it's a big upgrade to my FX6 rig. 5

The monitor offers peaking and focus assist. Is a touch screen which you can zoom in for detail. 5

Watched a ton of videos and did a ton of research on monitors and you get what you pay for. This went on sale for $1299 and I could not hit buy fast enough. Reg I think around $1700 it was a steel. Build like a brick and so easy to use, Love the focus check in green to get you that double check on tack sharp video as well as the swipe screens between different user interface. I also got the SmallRig cage and could not be happier with this purchase. Even the box it came it is very well done. Maybe they got a hint from Apple. Coming from a Freeworld monitor I see why spending a bit more is worth it, Also I used two Sony batteries on it and got almost 2 hours of use before it said battery B was low. 5
